I love all of the killers in this game, but The Nemesis is such a fun killer (Who doesn’t love Resident Evil am I right?!) and I get asked frequently by various people what the best builds on him are. As the game adds updates and nerfs, this list is subject to change, and this is also just my humble opinion. ENJOY!

This list will be the top 5 builds for The Nemesis in Dead by Daylight
.

5. End-game Redemption

This build was designed to give you a better time during the end game phases of the match.
  • Hex: No One Escapes Death (Generic Perk) - Once the Exit Gates are powered and there is at least one Dull Totem remaining in the environment, Hex: No One Escapes Death activates and lights its Totem:
Increases your Movement speed by 2/3/4%.
Survivors suffer from a permanent Exposed Status Effect.
  • Blood Warden (The Nightmare) - As soon as one Exit Gate is opened, Blood Warden activates.
The Auras of Survivors standing within the Exit-Gate area are revealed to you.
Once per Trial, hooking a Survivor while Blood Warden is active calls upon The Entity to block the exits for all Survivors for 30/40/60 seconds.
  • No Way Out (The Trickster) - For each Survivor, you hook for the first time, No Way Out gains 1 Token.
Once the Exit Gates have been powered, No Way Out activates:
When a Survivor interacts with an Exit Gate Switch, you receive a Loud Noise Notification, and The Entity blocks both Exit Gate Switches for 12 seconds and an additional 6/9/12 seconds per Token in your possession, up to a combined maximum of 36/48/60 seconds.
  • Remember Me (The Nightmare) - You become obsessed with one Survivor.
Each time the Obsession loses a Health State, Remember Me gains 1 Token:
Increases the Opening time of both Exit Gates by 4 seconds per Token, up to a maximum of 8/12/16 additional seconds.
The Obsession remains unaffected by this penalty.

4. I See You.

This build was designed to give you supreme aura reading capabilities.
  • Lethal Pursuer (The Nemesis) - At the start of the Trial, all survivors' Auras are revealed to you for 7/8/9 seconds.
  • Barbeque & Chili (The Cannibal) - Every time you hook a Survivor, this perk will activate giving away the location or auras of all Survivors within the 40-meter radius of the hook. If they are close to you or hiding in a locker, this perk won’t reveal them.
  • A Nurse’s Calling (The Nurse) - It is an aura-based perk that reveals the location of Survivors healing themselves or being healed up to 28 meters from the Killer at tier 3. This includes if a survivor is reviving a downed teammate.
  • I’m All Ears (The Ghost Face) - Any Survivor performing a rushed action within 48 meters of your location has their Aura revealed to you for 6 seconds.
I'm All Ears can only be triggered once every 60/50/40 seconds.

3. Gen Stopper

This build was designed to stop gen progression at all costs.
  • Discordance (The Legion) - Any Generator within a range of 64/96/128 meters that is being repaired by 2 or more Survivors is marked by a yellow Aura.
When the Generator is first highlighted, Discordance triggers a Loud Noise Notification on the Generator.
After the Generator is no longer within range or is being repaired by just 1 Survivor, the highlighted Aura will linger for another 4 seconds.
  • Corrupt Intervention (The Plague) 3 generators located furthest from you are blocked by The Entity for up to 120 seconds (depending on the Tier of the perk) at the start of the trial. Survivors cannot repair these generators for the duration.
  • Pop Goes The Weasel (The Clown) - After hooking a Survivor, Pop Goes the Weasel activates for the next 35/40/45 seconds:
The next Generator you damage instantly loses 25% Progression.
Regular Generator Regression applies afterward and Pop Goes the Weasel deactivates.
  • Deadlock (The Cenobite) - Whenever a Generator is completed, The Entity blocks the Generator with the most progression for 20/25/30 seconds.
The Aura of the blocked Generator is revealed to you in white during this time.

2. Bases Covered

This build was designed to be a jack of all trades. Stops gen progression, stops healing, gives aura reading, etc.
  • Barbeque & Chili (The Cannibal) - Every time you hook a Survivor, this perk will activate giving away the location or auras of all Survivors within the 40-meter radius of the hook. If they are close to you or hiding in a locker, this perk won’t reveal them.
  • Hex Ruin (The Hag) - This perk is one of the best perks to use on a killer as it regresses Generator repair progression for all generators when they are not being worked on. The regression speed can go upwards by up to 200% of the average speed.
  • Thanatophobia (The Nurse) - Each injured, dying, or hooked Survivor incurs a stackable 4/4.5/5% penalty to all Survivors' Repairing, Sabotaging, and Cleansing Action speeds, up to a maximum of 16/18/20%.

1. Who Needs Ruin, Anyway?

This build was designed to give you almost the same satisfaction as having a gen stopper build with Ruin.
  • Merciless Storm (The Onryo) - Whenever a Generator is repaired to 90%, Survivors repairing it are faced with continuous Skill Checks.
If they miss one or stop repairing, the Generator becomes blocked for 16/18/20 seconds.
Merciless Storm can only trigger once per Generator per Trial.
  • Tinkerer (The Hillbilly) - This perk will give you a Loud Noise Notification when a generator repair progress reaches 70%. Moreover, it will also give you an Undetectable Status Effect for up to 16 seconds. This is an amazing perk that can catch survivors off guard.
  • Call of Brine (The Onryo) - our psychic abilities influence technology in devastating ways.
After damaging a Generator, Call of Brine activates for 60 seconds.
The Generator regresses at 150/175/200% of the normal Regression speed and its Aura is revealed to you.
Each time a Survivor completes a Good Skill Check on a Generator affected by Call of Brine, you receive a Loud Noise Notification.
