Splitgate has announced that it will soon be releasing its biggest game update to date, with game-changing new features set to revolutionize the way the game is played.
The first, and possibly biggest change being added to Splitgate is asymmetrical custom game settings. As the game suggests, this mode allows players to set up custom games and stretch the limits of creative sanity with completely unique custom settings.
To set players on the right track, Splitgate has tweeted out some ideas. First off… shotguns versus pistols!
As part of the asymmetrical settings, players can select the primary weapons for each team, meaning they can make ridiculous match-ups such as pistols versus shotguns, or baseball bats only… Let the creative juices flow!
Wanna make your friends rage? Then select “Big head mode”, and set the opposing team’s heads to bigger than the heads in your team… Then start popping those headshots. That’ll get them thinking!
For another rage-inducing option, players can choose to create “fast vs. slow” matches, where players on one team have a higher speed setting than the other team.
Imagine the frustration of trying to run and moving at the pace of a snail swimming through peanut butter while your opponents give The Flash a run for his money…
There’s also the option to adjust gravity settings, making gravity higher or lower for either team and thus either making jumping and movement much easier or much harder and more frustrating.
These are only a few of the endless possibilities that asymmetrical custom game settings offer to the players, as the host has complete control over all the settings for each match.
Splitgate has said that this update will be released soon, but a specific release date has yet to be revealed. Stay tuned for updates!
