Halo Esports Announces Sign-ups for Weekend Halo Infinite Tournament

Halo Esports has announced that sign-ups are open for the Halo Infinite HCS Open Series that is taking place this weekend.

The Halo Infinite HCS Open Series is set to start this weekend on Saturday, 20 November 2021, at 03:00 AM CEST with the ANZ HCS Open Series in Australia, followed an hour later by the EU HCS Open Series, and then at irregularly staggered intervals later in the day for North America and Latin America.

Registrations for the ANZ HCS Open Series in Australia close at 02:45 AM CEST on 20 November 2021.

Players will compete in pre-made teams of 4 in a double-elimination format. According to the official rules “After losing a Match in the winner’s bracket, Teams will enter the losers bracket. A Match loss in the loser’s side of the bracket will result in elimination from the Tournament.” 

There are no entry fees for this tournament and the tournament does not award any prizes whatsoever.

There will be 8 rounds in the upper bracket, 14 rounds in the lower bracket, and *2 grand finals.

* According to the official rules: “In the grand finals, should the Team from the winner’s bracket win the initial match of the grand finals, that Team will be crowned Tournament champion.

In the grand finals, should the Team from the losers bracket win the initial match of the grand finals, both teams will play another Match. The winner of that Match will be crowned Tournament champion.”
