The steppe recurve bow is the De-facto bow for many Khuzait and Aserai soldiers. It is an excellent bow and pretty common. High tier archers will use this bow.
You will find a lot of your archers and mounted archers using this top-tier bow. It is easy to find and you shouldn’t have any trouble finding it.
Steppe Recurve bow strengths:
Easy to get. This bow is easily findable all over Aserai territory and Khuzait.
It is light. You can bring many for your companions and they will not encumber you.
High tier archers use it. This bow is a must for every rider in Khuzait and Aserai cavalry.
Can pack a punch. Not as strong as others, but the piercing is enough to make your enemies consider keeping their distance.
Speedy! It is fast to use. This means that you will not be spending a lot of time getting your arrows ready to fly!
Who should use this weapon?
It is made for riders that want to be around the battle, giving support to the infantry. I wouldn’t recommend using this bow and standing still, as it is made for speed and accuracy.
What combat situations is it good for?
If you have an enemy army full of cavalry, this bow can make it easier and faster to kill those annoying knights.

6) Woodland Yew Bow.
The bow that defines the Battanians. High accuracy and middle damage, this bow will not disappoint at all!
The yew bow is known for its speed and accuracy, which are two important things in bannerlord. If you are looking for a challenge, the woodland yew bow would be your choice.
Woodland Yew Bow strengths:
Not heavy. It is easily attainable and easy to carry around.
Useful for long distance firing. This bow can reach long distances with a piercing of 69.
Solid bow if you are looking to fight from afar. This bow is not meant to be used on horses, I would recommend staying far from the battle and shooting enemies from afar.
Easy to get. Most of the battanian armies have many of these lying around, so if you defeat one of them, you will easily find it.
The accuracy of this bow! This bow is more like a shotgun if you get close enough to an enemy.
Who should use the Woodland yew bow?
For those who want to learn to ride with a bow, the woodland yew bow can be hard, but once you master it, you wouldn't change it.
What combat situations is it good for?
If you are one of those commanders that stay with the archers, you can give your archers a hand with this awesome and solid bow.

How to get a Woodland Yew bow?
You should focus on Battania, although I have found this bow being used by Vlandians and sometimes but rarely, Sturgians.
5) Steppe War bow.
An excellent bow, ready to use on horseback the moment you have skills.
This one specific bow is made to be used on horseback, you should use this bow if you are going to ride. Otherwise, it will not give you a good experience.
Steppe War bow strengths:
Easy to use on horseback. The moment you reach skill 50 on a bow, you can use it on a horse.
Not as expensive as the next four in the list. This bow is specially easy to get since it doesn’t require that much gold to get.
Easy to carry around. This bow is not heavy, so you can get many for your companions.
Second best bow for horseback. The only other bow that wins over this one is the Noble bow.
Good for close shots. This bow is made to be used as a suppressor when the enemy is fighting the infantry.
Who should use this weapon?
The people who like to circle around with their horses, like annoying wasps. This bow is made to suppress the enemy.
What combat situations is it good for?
Has it ever happened to you that the enemy is full of mounted archers? This bow can make it easy to target and kill those annoying Khuzait archers.

You can get it from Khuzait armies or buy it in Khuzait territory. I do say, it is not easy to find, for me, it took me a while to find after defeating four armies of a thousand khuzait each.
4) Strong Tribesman Bow.
This bow is easy to find, mostly in Aserai and Khuzait territory. Made for fast shooting, the bow deserves to be mixed with sword fighting, like some kind of elite rogue player.
This bow is awesome to fight in close quarters. You can easily shoot and change to melee and this is a perk, because you can build up distance. when you have many enemies.
Strong Tribesman Bow strengths:
This bow is all purpose. What I mean is that this bow is definitely made to be shot from afar as well as close quarters.
Strong piercing. You will be able to beat enemies in two or even one shot. Well, armored ones are going to be harder.
Fast recharge. Not as fast as others, but definitely worth using for its speed.
Adaptable to all forms of fighting. A mix of melee and shooting gives a roleplay vibe.
Incredibly light for its tier and length.
Who should use this weapon?
For those who enjoy staying close to combat but love bow shooting!
What combat situation is it good for?
It is awesome to use in the middle of the pit. When the mosh pit starts, stay behind your lines or protected by them and start shooting the enemies that get close to you. They'll suffer.

3) Woodland longbow.
The Woodland longbow is sometimes the scariest bow you can encounter along the Battanians. Careful on trying to siege a castle with Battanian Fian Champions.
You should use this bow for its intended purpose. This is made for long distances and it excels at it.
Woodland longbow strengths.
Longest reaching distance bow. It outranks all other vows when it comes to being a sniper.
Made for defense. This bow excels at siege defense.
Strong damage. Intense and fast damage that can deal devastating defeats to enemy armies.
Battanian Fian Champions. If you use them, they will win battles.
Enemies will not be able to stay far. They will need to attack or be killed.
Who should use this weapon?
Those people that are lovers of sniping, I guess you can choose this bow. It's awesome, destructive and lethal.
What combat situation is it good for?
For everything you want. But mostly, staying outside the mosh pit is an excellent way to take advantage of it.

2) Noble Longbow.
Perhaps, one of the most aggressive bows in the game. Incredible punch that will annihilate anyone close to you. In fact, armors will try to keep up with it, but eventually they will succumb!
Noble Longbow Strengths:
Hits hard. Enough to one shot most unarmored foes.
Accuracy is off the charts. This weapon can reach far distances and make your enemies crumble.
Extremely fast for its length. This weapon is fast to recharge and shoot.
One of the best weapons in the game. It is a no brainer, if you ever get this Noble Longbow, don’t sell it, keep it.
Extremely accurate. Arrows will fly like they are alive with this bow.
Who should use this weapon:
Made for archers from archers. This weapon is to be used as a main, with a small blade on your hip.
What combat situation is it good for?
Definitely finding a peak or a hill will give you superiority over the infantry, and do not talk about the horses. If you have foes on horses, just shoot their horses.

1) Noble Bow
Hands down, the beast of beasts. The sister of the Noble Longbow, weaker but more efficient in everything. Recommended for horse riding.
Using this bow should be a pleasant experience if you, of course, have the skills. I recommend getting on your horse and going around the battlefield shooting enemies on the head or chasing cavalry down.
Noble Bow Strengths:
Horse riding. You can definitely be the one going full Legolas with this bow.
Fast recharge, it is small, hence, it can feel like shooting a shotgun.
Even better on foot. If you decide to fight on foot, this bow will excel on the Longbow version.
Crazy accuracy, your arms will feel like a machine gun after the battle.
Abuse of a corpse. This bow will definitely trash enemies into pieces.
Who should use this weapon?
Everyone with a sense of winning. This bow is hands down the best one and none other shall be used after getting this bow.
What combat situations is it good for?
Definitely for mosh pit battle and ranged shooting. It is an all purpose bow and will not give you any trouble.
