Which ladies in the series are worthy of their status?
As is true with nearly all anime, My Hero Academia has a plethora of females who have won the fanbase’s hearts. Here is a list of ten notable girls from the show.
10. Pixie-bob
This woman is one of the four members of the Wild Wild Pussycats. Her physical age is in her early 30s. She is offended toward those who mention her age. Pixie is 18 at heart.
Her quirk allows her to manipulate the earth with her hands. The point of contact glows a bright blue. Her control extends to the point of creating tsunamis of soil and making mud monsters.
9. Curious
She was an adherent to the Meta Liberation Army’s ideology. In her eyes, nobody should be dictated on how they use their quirk. It is a libertarian philosophy.
Her value to the league was based on reporting stories beneficial to the Army. Re-Destro, her superior, was critical of her early stories as they failed to speak to the people. She was prompted to make an emotional impact with people for the group’s benefit.
This is where she began to show her Machiavellian aspects. She used the blood of her colleagues to blow the insides of Toga. Her goal was to paint Toga as a martyr for the Liberation Army. In the end, her efforts were unsuccessful.
8. La Brava
This woman spent her teenage years stuck behind a computer screen. Her reclusive lifestyle was a reaction to the rejection she faced in middle school. A boy she liked decided to return her admission of love with a character assassination.
The lively nature of Gentle Criminal prompted her to use her acquired hacking skills and track him down. He gave her a new purpose in life and their love grew.
7. Mei Hatsune
Mei Hatsune is a technological genius who attends U.A. Her class number is 1-H. The only power she possesses is the ability to zoom her vision to distances over three miles away.
She labels her creations her “babies”. They intend to support heroes and how they use their quirks. Deku wears gloves designed to release air force blasts without damaging his fingers.
Her mentality is that of a savvy businesswoman. Her tone is elated once she starts talking about her inventions and will rave on and on as long as possible. She purposefully lost a match against Tenya so that she could market her products to a large crowd.
6. Toga
This insane girl was once a member of a normal Japanese family. Her attraction to the blood of what she desires alienated her as a child. She masked her inclinations behind a mask of success and etiquette.
Her underlying personality resurfaced when she sucked the blood of a classmate. Tears of joy flowed from her eyes as the boy screamed in terror. Toga’s life has been on the run from authorities ever since.
After years of concealing herself, she refuses to obey societal conventions. She vows to live and die with her version of normal. These beliefs are what aligns her with All for One and the League of Villains.
5. Ibara

A student at U.A, she is one of the powerhouses of Class 1-B. Her green hair has the property of vines. Her versatile quirk can create shields, whips, and webs all out of her hair.
True to her Christian beliefs, she has a caring personality. She takes it upon herself to be a light unto her fellow students. She breaks into prayer at certain moments of the story.
Her viny hair may be alluding to the crown of thorns created for Jesus Christ in the New Testament.
4. Nejire
As someone whose power is derived from vitality, you would be right to expect that this student would be full of energy. She rambles about her observations to all in her immediate view. Her curiosity led her to toy with Mina’s horns. Whether or not fiddling her horns caused pain is debatable.
The energy she produces is in the form of yellow, wavy swirls. She can charge the output of her energy, producing explosive blasts. Too much use of her quirk leads to burnout.
She, Ochaco, and Tsuyu have teamed up to fight villains on multiple occasions. Once was against giant villains in a large city. Another battle commenced out at sea against smugglers of a drug known as Trigger.
3. Ochaco Uraraka
Ochaco Uraraka is the main female protagonist of the show and the female counterpart to Deku. She doesn’t take the admiration of Deku by other girls well. The biggest trait that she and Deku share is immense determination.
Her motivation to become a hero is to acquire lots of money for her family. Her childhood was marked by her parents never having enough to do what they wanted. A career as a hero would supply her with the funds she wants.
Her determination was tested many times in the course of the series. One was during her battle of Bakugo and nearly made her pass out from overusing her power. During the battle with Nine, she pushed herself again to the point of vomiting glitter.
2. Momo Yaoyorozu
The bookish, rich student of U.A. She was accepted into the school off of a letter of recommendation. Her calling is to become a leader among her fellow heroes. Midnight could sense this in her during the chaos of the Paranormal Liberation War and the onslaught of Gigantomachia.
When the students of the high school are preparing for a test, Momo is eager to help them out. The underachievers of the class all asked to study over at her house. What they encountered was an elaborate banquet hall and Momo’s bubbliness rising to the surface.
1. Mirko
A certified fan favorite who deserves all of the recognition. Mirko is the No. 5 Pro Hero across Japan and has rabbit-themed superpowers. An incredible feat of her powers was displayed when she sent out a shockwave that crumbled the concrete beneath her. All of it was achieved by slamming her foot to the ground.
Her personality balances duty and frivolousness. She derives energy from dangerous experiences and wants to live like there is no tomorrow. This encourages her to complete all that she needs to so that she can die with no regrets.
