1) Daily Commissions
One of the best ways to earn primogems, no matter what your Adventure Rank is, is by doing daily commissions. Daily Commissions appear as small purple diamonds on players maps and will all be in the same region. Four daily commissions will be available per day, and each gives twenty primogems. An additional twenty primogems are earned once players complete all four dailies and talk to Katheryne at the Adventure Guild.
Saving up only by doing dailies is a long process. Since it would take more than two days worth of daily commissions to earn one wish. But it’s still worth doing your dailies since it adds up when combined with other ways of earning primogems.

- Open your quest menu
- Find your four daily commissions
- Complete all the commissions
- Visit the Adventurer's Guild and speak with Katheryne Quests.
2) Quests
Not all quests offer primogems as rewards, but some do. It’s easy to check if you’ll earn primogems since the quest rewards are shown along with a description of the quest. One of the best ways to get primogems from quests quickly is by completing story quests.
Story quests are some of the more fun quests to complete, aside from the archon quests. Story quests involve a five-star character and tend to take a lot of time to complete. Hangout quests are for four-star characters and have a variety of endings where you’ll earn rewards like primogems.

3) Spiral Abyss
The spiral abyss is both a fun challenge and a great way to earn primogems. The spiral abyss is a series of timed battles that will reward players with 150 primogems for every level. There are twelve levels in total.
Who doesn’t love a good challenge? The spiral abyss is difficult, which makes completing all levels really rewarding. It forces players to build two complete teams and consider the best way to quickly take down strong enemies. It’s also great that the abyss resets from levels nine to twelve every few weeks.
How it works:
- Reach Adventure Rank 20
- Go to the spiral abyss to the east of Mondstadt
- Complete the level while earning three stars
4) Chests
Chests are another way to earn primogems, but you don’t earn very much. Common chests can give up to two primogems; exquisite chests give between two and five; precious chests give from five to ten; luxurious chests give players ten primogems; and chests in shrines of depth give forty primogems.
Opening chests, combined with other methods of earning primogems, is a great way to get valuable resources along with primos. There are also gadgets that can be crafted that will help players locate nearby chests.

5) Leveling up the tree in Inazuma and Sumeru
In Sumeru and Inazuma, there are better ways to use the sigils earned from chests. Sumeru has the Tree of Dreams, and Inazuma has the Sacred Sakura’s Favor. Both of these locations can be unlocked after completing quests.
The rewards for leveling up both of the sigil trees are fantastic. Not only can players earn primogems, but they can also receive crowns and acquainted fate. So, it’s definitely worth it to collect sigils and level up the trees in both nations.

6) Leveling up your Adventure Ranking
Every five levels of Adventure Rank will give players 150 primogems along with other rewards. Early in the game, it’s easy to rise through Adventure Ranks quickly, which means players will earn a lot of primogems fast!
As players reach higher Adventure Ranks, it’s harder and takes longer to level up. So, AR is a great way to get primogems. but it isn’t as reliable as other methods.

- Complete domains
- Fight bosses
- Go to the Adventurer’s Guild
- Claim rewards
7) Daily check-In
If you’re someone who’s good with following a routine, then doing a daily check-in is a great way to get primogems without even doing anything. The daily check-in is available through the HoYoLab website. One of the rewards that players can earn once a week is 20 primogems.

- Claim your daily check-in
- Find the reward in your mailbox in-game
8) Achievements
There are a ton of achievements that players can earn by doing a variety of things in Genshin. A lot of quests even have achievements linked to them, earning players even more primogems.
The sheer number of achievements makes them a great way to earn primos. Fighting bosses a certain way even has achievements that will give players a few primogems. Which makes achievement hunting a worthwhile strategy for getting primos.

- Complete objective
9) Unlocking waypoints
Exploring has to be one of the best parts of Genshin Impact. Plus, even exploring will give primogems. Which is definitely a good way to make players enjoy the scenery.
There are currently over 100 permanent waypoints in Genshin, and each waypoint rewards players with five primogems when they’re unlocked. If you’re someone who doesn’t do much exploring, it’s worth it to at least unlock all the waypoints for the primos.

10) Limited-time events
Most of the time, there is some sort of limited-time event going on in Genshin. These events only last a certain number of days and will give different rewards. Most of the time, these events will give primogems when completing their quests.
The events in Genshin can be hit or miss. Sometimes the events are fantastic and have characters you enjoy. But sometimes, the events drag and have poor mechanics. This all just depends on what you enjoy.
