Kamisato Ayaka is the oldest daughter of the Kamisato Clan and sister of Kamisato Ayato. Because of her social status as the eldest daughter of the Kamisato Clan of the Yashiro Commission and as the Shirasagi Himegimi, Ayaka is seen as a model of perfection.
She’s a Cryo character whose main role is DPS. Even if she’s not flexible about her role, she can have multiple types of builds and teams.
Let us present to you some of our favorite builds for our beloved Ayaka!
3. Gladiator’s Finale
Gladiator’s Finale is an Artifact Set available at 4-star and 5-star rarities which can be obtained from Bosses at World Level 2 and above.
The 4-Piece Bonus of this set increases normal attack DMG by 35% if the character uses a Sword, Claymore, or Polearm. “If it just applies to normal attacks, why is it good for Ayaka, a Cryo user?”. Hold on, Paimon, let me explain it to you.
Reasons to use this set:
- As we said before, Ayaka is a DPS so her basic attacks are still really important. This build can bring a lot of DMG to her basic attacks.
- Even if the 2-Piece Bonus of Shimenawa’s Reminiscence is the same as Gladiator’s Finale, their 4-Piece Bonus is very different. Anyway, you can always try 2-Piece Shimenawa’s Reminiscence and 2-Piece Gladiator’s Finale.
- The best weapon for this build is the Blackliff Sword, a 4-star weapon that can be obtained in Paimon’s Bargains. Its 2nd stat is CRIT DMG and after defeating an opponent, Ayaka’s attack will increase by 12% for 30s (it has a max of 3 stacks).
Set stats
- Flower: HP
- Plume: Flat ATK
- Sand: ATK%
- Goblet: Cryo DMG/EM Bonus
- Circlet: Crit DMG/ Crit Rate
Teams
- Ayaka, Diona, Kazuha, and Bennet
- Ayaka, Ganyu, Mona, and Ayato
- Ayaka, Sucrose, Xingqiu, and Diona
2. Shimenawa’s Reminiscence and Blizzard Strayer
Blizzard Strayer (or Icebreaker) is an Artifact Set available at 4-star and 5-star rarities which can be obtained from Peak of Vindagnyr. The 2-Piece Bonus of this set increases Cryo DMG by 15%.
The 2-Piece Bonus of Gladiator’s Finale increases your character’s ATK by 18%. Shimenawa’s Reminiscence Set has this bonus too and can be farmed in a domain.
Reasons to use this set:
- Ayaka’s Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst deal Cryo DMG. The use of Blizzard Strayer increases this Cryo DMG.
- Gladiator’s Finale increases Ayaka’s basic attacks. These two sets make Ayaka a really good DPS.
- The perfect weapon for this set is Primordial Jade-Cutter, a sword that increases HP by 20-40% and provides an ATK Bonus based on 1.2-2.4% of Ayaka’s Max HP.

1. Blizzard Strayer
The 4-Piece Bonus of Blizzard Strayer increases CRIT Rate by 20% every time a character attacks an opponent affected by Cryo. If the opponent is Frozen, CRIT Rate is increased by an additional 20%.
Reasons to use this set:
- As we said, Ayaka’s Elemental Burst and Skill deal Cryo DMG. This set will increase these skills and charge attack’s DMG.
- Characters such as Xingqiu, Bennet, or Sucrose will be perfect for your Ayaka’s team. You have to be able to do Elemental Reactions to deal more Cryo DMG and these characters are perfect for that.
- The Mistsplitter Reforged is the best weapon for this build.
