Hello, gamers! My name is Ember and today, I'm coming at you with our top 5 Oblivion armor sets and how to get them, let's get started!

 5. Imperial Dragon Armor (Best for fighting characters)

Imperial Dragon Armor, the prettiest in the game.

This armor would be really good strength-wise if you could get it early or mid-game, but since you only get it at the end of the main questline, it’s not the best practically speaking. If you want a really cool looking armor set though, then this is the set for you.

 Armor stats:

 Heavy

  • 35 armor rating
  • 92 carry weight
  • 2,525 condition
  • 1,000 Septim value

 Light

  • 21 armor rating
  • 20 carry weight
  • 970 condition
  • 245 value

 Enchantments

  • Helmet- resist shock 20%
  • Cuirass- resist magic 11%
  • Gauntlets- resist poison 11%
  • Greaves- resist fire 20%
  • Boots- resist frost 20%

What makes Imperial Dragon Armor awesome:

  • Honestly, just how cool it looks
  • The enchantments are nice too

How to get Imperial Dragon Armor:

  • Complete main questline
  • Retrieve from a table in the Armory in the Imperial City Prison District 14 days after completing the “Light The Dragonfires” quest

 4. Glass Armor (Best for light-armored characters)

Glass Armor, the armor with a misleading name.

I really like Glass Armor for multiple reasons, one being the stats. It’s really good for light armor, the best you can get without mods in fact. This set is really nice, speaking in terms of both stats and aesthetics. Most of the armor in Oblivion is really… underwhelming. That’s not true for glass armor, as it does something pretty cool.

 Armor stats (with shield)

  • 50 armor rating
  • 40.5 carry weight
  • 5,375 condition
  • 5,300 Septim value

 Why Glass Armor is awesome

  • Really nice stats
  • It glows green in the dark, which I find pretty cool

 How to get Glass Armor

  • Reach level 20
  • Loot bodies and chests

 3. Daedric Armor (Best for Warriors)

Daedric Armor, the armor that gives you a really hard time to acquire.

Daedric armor is hands-down one of the absolute best heavy armor sets in the game. It has better stats than Ebony armor, and we all know that Ebony armor has amazing stats. It also looks really cool, I mean, look at it. Daedric armor is incredibly heavy, and thus I would only really recommend this set to people playing characters with high carrying capacity.

 Armor stats (with shield)

  • 75 armor rating
  • 162 carry weight
  • 10, 800 condition
  • 13,850 Septim value

 Why Daedric Armor is awesome

  • The stats are incredibly good
  • Like Glass Armor, Daedric Armor glows in the dark, only red instead of green

 How to get Daedric Armor

  • Reach level 20
  • Loot Dremora Lords and Princes, leveled cave enemies, and vampires until you collect the full set

 2. Ebony Armor (Best for fighting characters)

Ebony Armor, the armor with the most intricate details. Thi is a photo of MODDED armor.

Ebony armor has some really nice stats, although it is pretty heavy. This armor set is really good for fighter characters who tend to rush into battle rather than help from the sidelines. This armor set is also one of the rarest in the game. I’d only really recommend this set to people who are playing a character with a high carrying capacity since it’s so heavy.

 Armor stats (with shield)

  • 58 armor rating
  • 141.75 carry weight
  • 7,600 condition
  • 5,500 Septim value

 Why Ebony armor is awesome

  • The stats are really good
  • It’s available at an earlier level than most armor with stats this good

 How to get Ebony armor

  • Reach level 15
  • Loot bodies of enemies wearing heavy armor

 1. Brusef Amelion's Armor (Best for fighting characters)

Brusef Amelion's Armor, the armor you can only get by raiding a dead man's tomb.

Brusef Amelion’s armor is a light armor set that is obtained during the “Amelion’s Debt” quest. It is a unique set of armor that can’t be obtained by any other means without mods or console commands.

This armor set has some pretty nice stats, though they’re nowhere near as nice as the previous two sets. This is a great set for players that want a relatively strong set of heavy armor in early game, since you don’t have to be at any specific level to get it. I’d recommend this armor for people who are new to Oblivion, since obtaining it is relatively easy to do.

 Armor stats (with shield)

  • 29 armor rating
  • 126 carry weight
  • 1,90 condition
  • 385 Septim value

Why Brusef Amelion’s armor is awesome

  • It’s fairly easy to get early on in the game
  • The stats are good if you’re still in early game
  • It looks pretty cool

How to get Brusef Amelion’s armor

  • Join the Fighter’s Guild
  • Obtain the “Amelion’s Debt” quest
  • Retrieve armor from the tomb
  • Go back to Biene Amelion
  • Pay off her debt
