Werewolves are creatures that have long been associated with horror and darkness, often viewed as forces of evil rather than good.
‘Werewolf: The Apocalypse’ places players in a unique position, playing as a werewolf that has been exiled for losing control of his power and is now the only thing standing in the way of evil intent on destroying the world.
‘Cahal’, the story’s protagonist and main character, is not only a powerful werewolf but can also turn into a mighty beast called ‘Crinos’. Crinos can rip through anything and anyone that gets in his way, with tremendous strength, power, and a penchant for gory violence.
Players must fight opposite Endral, an oil company that is working for the ‘Wyrm’. The ‘Wyrm’ is a force of evil that is destroying the planet and has does nothing but deal in death, destruction, and devastation.
The game offers a skill tree system that allows players to upgrade their character with new abilities, strength, health, and a variety of other features that make Cahal a more devious and powerful werewolf, and Crinos a more devastating killing machine.
Players must use Cahal’s human form for using machinery and equipment, as well as for speaking to and interacting with people as they embark on their journey to help Garou stop Endron. Speaking to the right people is key in building connections, sourcing resources, and achieving goals in the fight against Endron and the Wyrm.
‘Werewolf: The Apocalypse’ is developed by ‘Cyanide Studio’ and is available on Steam.
