All across the world, at all times, somebody is facing a disaster, somebody is in need of rescue and assistance. ‘Resue Party: Live’ applies this to a video game, setting players up to be the rescuers the world needs.
Much like the real world, the world of ‘Rescue Party: Live’ is plagued with an endless barrage of new disasters and situations that demand rescuers, ranging from fires, accidents, and people at risk of drowning to tunnel collapses and blind people in need of guide dogs.
Players can play with their friends and work as a team to protect people from danger and help those in need. There are 9 different roles that players can choose from, namely:
- Fireman
- Student
- Guide dog
- Doctor
- Reporter
- Volunteer
- Lifeguard
- Team leader
- Reserves team member
Each of these roles has a unique function to play in society. Guide dogs are essential to help blind people live more independently, while firemen are there to prevent the world from going up in flames and to rescue cats stuck in trees!
Furthermore, roles such as reporters are crucial in reporting disasters and announcing dangerous situations or events.
The world of ‘Rescue Party: Live’ is as diverse as the real world, with players being able to explore and work in 6 main environments. These include cities, tunnels, factories, breezy seasides, sprawling forests, and towering snow-capped mountains.
‘Rescue Party: Live’ allows players to play in single-player mode if they are in the mood to try and rescue the world by themselves, or, if players are feeling sociable, they can run up the game with their friends in multiplayer mode.
‘Rescue Party: Live’ is developed by ‘Tag Studio’ and is available on Steam.
