Farming and ranching have always been crucial elements in human survival and in supporting the population of the earth.
Despite ever-growing urban areas and the popularity of urban life, the farmers and ranchers have remained, growing bigger and making more food to support the Earth’s rapidly growing population.
‘The Ranchers’ puts players in the position of an urbanite that has spent their life living in the city and is sick and tired of living in a concrete jungle. Players start off as new arrivals in the countryside with their eyes set on building a life as a rancher and discovering the joys of country living.
Players must take the land that they start off on and use their available money and resources to start growing crops and to start herds of whichever animals they choose to raise. Players can purchase some chickens, cattle, and even sheep which they can raise and allow to multiply.
There will be a variety of challenges for players to face that are typical of ranch life, such as bad weather, crop diseases, animal diseases, and more. It will take a lot of work and effort to build up a ranch that generates massive amounts of money and is respected throughout the town and local county, perhaps even the country.
There are additional features to add more depth to the game, such as relationships, starting a family, and more.
