Although the basic human needs in order to survive have remained largely the same over time, problems faced in medieval times were very different from the kind of problems faced in the modern age.
‘Medieval Dynasty’ takes players back in time, presenting them with the problems of medieval life and survival against the backdrop of normal modern life and an understanding of modern needs, wants, and habits.
In ‘Medieval Dynasty’ players must survive and build up their lives from nothing after their character fled from war and had to start over with nothing. The game has story questline missions, side quests, and features an open world in which players can explore, hunt, gather resources, and interact with various NPCs.
Players must build up their life, starting with building a basic house. They can gather resources to craft weapons and tools which can be used for defense, hunting, more resource gathering, and crafting better tools, equipment, housing, etc.
Players can farm and hunt for food, build storage buildings, and do their best to find a partner, impressing them with wealth, good hygiene, and charming conversation. Together they can start a family, expand their homestead, and continue building up their settlement into a bustling town that is wealthy and well defended.
The goal is to set up a powerful dynasty ruling over the inhabitants of their country and to complete the story quests as part of their journey in building up their dynasty. Throughout, players will have to deal with challenges such as raiding parties, bandits, disease, and various other banes of medieval life.
