Back in the day when the ancestors of humanity were still running around in loincloths chasing animals with spears and arrows modern construction wasn’t exactly a thing.

Of course, there were marvels of engineering like giant palaces and pyramids, but for the average jungle-dweller and his family, not so much.

‘Jungle House’ chucks the player back into the jungle with primitive tools only and requires them to design and build beautiful houses, following and applying as many principles of modern and ancient construction as possible. Every design is different.

Players can roam beneath the dense jungle canopy collecting materials such as wood, bamboo, lianas, and whatever else will work well for building jungle ‘mansions’ with nothing but the most primitive of tools.

As they progress players can build better tools and upgrade their construction methods to build bigger and more impressive houses that are less likely to fall apart at the first sign of rain or wind. Players can build anything from treehouses to cabins on stilts and wooden platforms.

Taking shortcuts will result in poor construction quality and there is no point in building a house if it's gonna fall apart soon afterward. After all, what kind of housebuilder and architect would fail at something as primitive and simple as a jungle house?

‘Jungle House’ is developed by ‘Simulam,’ and is currently available on Steam as a playable demo only. The official release date has not been announced yet.
