Being an elite special operative, or a soldier, or a special agent, or any of a host of other highly specialized military or intelligence field roles, is something that a lot of kids and even adults dream of being or fantasize about.

However, for most of them, it's just a dream, a fantasy, something that will never be realized.

In ‘Hubris’ players take on the role of a recruit of the OOO, or the Order of Objectivity, as it is also known.

They are sent to the “planetoid belt of the Twin Planetary System,” where they must fight enemies of the OOO while carrying out their primary mission, which is to track down and find agent Cyanha with the help of their pilot Lucia.

The twist in ‘Hubris’ is that it is in VR. Everything players do, they must do in VR, and this includes swimming, running, jumping, and fighting.

Players get to experience all the horrors of war, the terrifying wildlife of the planetoid belt, and the astonishing beauty of their technology in VR that is described as being “TOO REAL to be VR…” by ‘AwakenToast.’

The game features an in-depth storyline that can be uncovered as players discover secrets about the OOO that are scattered and hidden throughout the Hubris universe. The game also includes RPG elements, with resource collection and management, crafting, and weapons and vehicle customization.

‘Hubris’ is developed by ‘Cyborn B.V.’ and is available on Steam with support for ‘Valve Index,’ ‘HTC Vive,’ ‘Oculus Rift,’ and ‘Windows Mixed Reality.’
