Warka 101, the developer of The Hauntings, is planning to release the game in early 2022. No specific dates have been released yet.
According to the game’s description on Steam, “The Hauntings is a 1-4 player online co-op investigation and exorcism game.” Players are required to use paranormal investigation equipment to find the source of The Haunting in a building and eliminate the threat.
‘The Hauntings’ boasts a variety of creepy features. The first, and perhaps most scary one, is player possession, where a ghost can possess a player’s character and use it against their friends.
There are 5 playable character classes, each with unique skills and abilities. Players can level up in-game all the way to level 100, unlocking new gear with each new level.
Players must exorcise ghosts from the world. Incorrect exorcism procedure due to misidentification of the ghost will be… catastrophic. Players will also be able to speak to ghosts and potentially cause some crazy stuff to go down if they make all the wrong choices!
The game supports 1 to 4 players co-op and can be an ideal source of entertaining horror to share with friends and gamer buddies.
The publisher, Warka Development, has announced its intention to publish in early 2022 but has not given any specific details regarding planned release dates, however, players can request access to the playtest via Steam.
