Forza has revealed that it plans to release an update for Forza Horizon 5 in the near future to address a number of issues.

On 13 December 2021 at 10:41 PM CET, Forza Support announced via Twitter that the dev team, “is currently working on another set of fixes and stability improvements for #ForzaHorizon5…”

They further stated that “If all goes well with testing, an update will be released tomorrow.” This was in a tweet yesterday, meaning that an update can be expected later today, if, as they stated, all goes well.

There are a number of different Forza Horizon 5 multiplayer-related issues that they wish to address.

Firstly, there is a problem with convoys that causes some players to disappear or not get joined into the server with their friends. This has reportedly been a serious annoyance to many players, as it prevents them from playing with their friends.

Another issue that Forza seeks to address, according to the news release detailing the planned update, is Horizon Arcade. Reportedly, not many players have been able to play this mode as intended, because, similarly to Convoys, players disappear at the start of the round.

There are also issues with ‘The Eliminator’, ‘Horizon Open’, ‘EventLab’, and Leaderboards.

All of these issues are multiplayer-related and are being worked on by the Forza Horizon 5 dev team. Full details regarding the issues in question are available in the official Forza news release, ‘Forza Horizon 5 – An Update to the Community.’

UPDATE

Forza has released Forza Horizon 5 Series 3 Update to deal with the above-mentioned issues. Not all the issues have been dealt with. The full patch details are available in the official patch news release.
