‘Dysmantle’ is a top-down survival game set in a post-apocalyptic world. Players emerge from an underground bunker after having hidden down there from the disaster unfolding above for years. Time has finally come to emerge and inspect the damage.
Upon reaching the surface, it becomes clear that nothing will ever be the same. The world seems to be devoid of other life, save for people and animals infected by a strange substance that has driven them to madness, leaving players alone and vulnerable.
Players must explore the island that they are stuck on, destroying objects to obtain resources and supplies. Up to 99% of the world is destructible for resources using the correct tools, according to the game’s developers.
Players must build outposts, farm for food, and build weapons to protect themselves and their property. The game also features hunting and fishing as additional methods of obtaining food. Resources and supplies that are needed for new technological advancements, weapons, and equipment, can be obtained from old, abandoned tech and constructions from the pre-apocalyptic era.
Players must survive, expand their presence, and progress until they are able to safely escape the island on which they surfaced after their long stint underground.
