Following its release on 4 February 2022, ‘Dying Light 2’ has proved to be quite popular among fans. However, there have been complaints that the story is too short.

On Sunday, 13 February 2022, Dying Light 2 announced the release of the game’s first DLC. The DLC is called ‘Authority Pack’ and is available to players free of charge.

Despite the announcement of the DLC release players are still complaining, stating that the main story was too short and that they would prefer to have been given a story DLC instead of the ‘Authority DLC.’

Some of the negative comments on the Twitter announcement of the DLC include a Tweet by @NeKettG1 stating “I need story DLC, the main story was way too short.” There are a large number of similar tweets, complaining about the story being too short, about game bugs, about lack of focus on bug fixes, and a variety of other issues.

The ‘Authority Pack’ DLC brings new skin to the game in 3 different sets of parts. Players fight as part of the authority that prevents utter chaos from ruling the world. The new skin is the uniform of the PK, pretty much the cops that hang people for stealing.

The first part of the skin that players can obtain is the chestpiece, joggers, and sneakers. The second part consists of the headgear, bracers, and gloves. The third and final part of the DLC and skin is the weapon skin.

The new skin is pretty much all that is coming to the game with the DLC, leaving plenty of players disappointed due to the short length of the story campaign.

Developers have stated that bugs are being worked on by the Dev team and that the team responsible for releasing skin DLCs, etc is the art team and is not responsible for any bug fixing. They have stated that developers are doing their best to fix the issues ASAP.
