Oil tycoons and massive business owners that run businesses that are not particularly beneficial to the environment often receive a lot of flack for the apparent damage they are doing to the environment.
The question is, how many of the activists that so vehemently oppose them would do exactly the same things that the tycoons are doing if they were put in a similar position of financial power and were in a position to make similar large amounts of money at the expense of the environment?
‘Drill Deal - Oil Tycoon’ reveals the aspiring money barons among as it places players in charge of a rapidly growing oil company, starting them off with a single, small oil drilling platform.
Players must build their first oil rig, selling oil to make money and gradually using the money they make to expand and upgrade their original rig, adding additional platforms as they go along.
As they progress players will build a large interconnected network of oil rigs and pipelines, making huge amounts of money as their business grows. They must use their money to expand further, and for the acquisition of oil tankers, helicopters, and more.
They must ensure that the reputation of their company remains stellar by ensuring that no oil spills occur through proper risk management, maintenance, and disaster response.
Considering the individual skillsets of new employees is also crucial in ensuring that only the best experts are hired and that there will be no catastrophic mistakes due to inadequate qualifications and abilities.
‘Drill Deal - Oil Tycoon’ is developed by ‘A2 Softworks’ and is on Steam.
