Ever heard of David and Goliath? Well, in this particular case, VR is Goliath and regular PC is David. Or Davids actually… Of course, it’s going to take a little bit more than a single stone to bring this particular Goliath down!
‘DAVIGO’ is a “cross-reality” combat game where one VR player takes on the role of a giant and must do battle against 1 or more regular players on PC.
The VR player playing Goliath must physically move around and try to crush the enemy players around them using brute force. The VR player is also able to lift heavy objects and throw them at players or try to crush players using heavy objects in the environment.
The regular players must move around the map, collecting items and weapons, making themselves stronger, and doing whatever it takes to bring Goliath down.
Regular PC players have the advantage of being “nimble,” fast-moving, and agile. This will help them to dodge the giant while popping off shots at the giant in an attempt to bring the giant crashing down as David did!
‘DAVIGO’ allows up to 4 regular players to play against 1 Goliath. The game also includes map-building features that will allow you to design and build custom maps and scenarios. The game supports all major PC VR platforms, including ‘Oculus Rift,’ ‘HTC Vive,’ ‘Valve Index,’ and ‘Windows Mixed Reality.’
‘DAVIGO’ is developed by ‘Davigo Studio.’ No official Steam release date has been confirmed for ‘DAVIGO’ yet.
