Chorus has released a final cinematic trailer for the game ‘Chorus: Rise as One’ before the game is officially released. Furthermore, they have announced the official release time.
On 1 December 2021, at 4:01 PM CET, Chorus released a tweet stating “Beyond the void, it stirs. The age of Chorus dawns…” and including a cinematic trailer for the game. The game is set to release on Friday, 3 December 2021.
The game will become available at 9:00 PM CET on Steam, Epic, and Stadia. It will also become available on console at 12 AM local time.
The trailer opens with an over-the-shoulder camera shot of a figure overlooking the universe. A voice says “The time is now…” The trailer jump cuts to a scene of an explosion, after which it returns to the original shot as the mysterious figure says, “Beyond the Void, it stirs…”
The figure goes on to say, “The age of Chorus dawns…” At this point, there is a jump cut to a close-up shot of a female character’s face as she says, “We’ll see,” and engages the thrusters on her spaceship. This is followed by some space combat gameplay and the closing scene announcing the release date.
In a tweet released at 4:16 PM CET today, 2 December 2021, Chorus announces the release times for the game and asks, “Who's ready to start their quest for redemption and rid the galaxy of The Great Prophet?”
In the same tweet, they accidentally stated the release date as being scheduled for 3 December 2022, causing quite a scare for some of the game’s 2k+ followers.
However, they have reassured players that the game will indeed release tomorrow; and so the final countdown to release begins.
