Does your base always get raided? Does it get destroyedby other people even in the early game? If that's true you should be ashamed of yourself, but you came to the right place.
Today I'm going to show you new, not outdated, base designs that will help you start your playthrough.
These bases are a sign of a successful wipe, so you should stick around and find out how to build them and why to use them.
This is intended for solos and groups, here are 10 bases that anyone can use.
10. The Most Broken Bunker
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35sNRj_pPN4
The name may fool you, but this base is really good and useful. It's broken because it provides an unfair advantage to the player in the game. It's very easy to make, doesn't cost much, but it provides great security in the late-game stage. It takes 8 C4s to completely raid the base.
It only takes 88 high-quality metals, 1700 wood, and 50 metal fragments to make it, in return you are going to get a stash where you can store all your items if you are afraid of raids, or it can serve as a distraction to fool your enemies. It's up to you, it's very useful but not practical for living there.
- No BP's needed
- Low upkeep
- Easy access
- Easily hidden
- Good item keeper
9. The Harvester
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-mHW8wqSvw
This is a small furnace base design. It can be pretty useful because of its small size and cost. It's nothing more than a harvester base design but it takes 13 rockets for the TC and all loot.
It takes 6000 metal fragments, 11000 stone, and 3500 wood. Of course only if you want to apply all-metal upgrades to the base. They are not that needed if you are just starting. The upkeep is not that high and it's a useful base for any kind of playthrough.
- BP's needed
- Medium upkeep
- Easy access
- Easily hidden
- Good item keeper
- Excellent furnace security
8. Solo Starter Base
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQF_kQjqRoI
This is probably going to be more useful than the base above. Since a lot of people don't know how to start, or they are just having a hard time playing solo, we found a base that is hard to door camp, practical for starters and advanced players, and easily accessible.
It takes 4000 stone and 4200 wood along with 950 metal fragments. The upkeep is not going to be too demanding. This is only for the beginning, but if hidden well, it can serve really good.
- No BP's needed
- Low upkeep
- Easy access
- Easily hidden
- Door-Camp proof
7. The Padlock
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-27L5zSZI_g
This base is great for solo and duo plays. Even though it can be expensive for a beginner, metal upgrades are only optional. It's a great base that has access to the roof, while also being a mini bunker that can protect your stuff, you can put more than 16 large boxes in there. If fully upgraded it takes 23+ rockets to the main TC.
It costs more than the past bases but if you are going with all-metal upgrades like in the video, you will need 171 HQM, 9300 metal fragments, 3500 stone, and 8400 wood. The upkeep is a little bit demanding with 900 metal fragments, but like I said, you don't have to do the metal upgrades.
- No BP's needed
- Medium/High upkeep
- Easy access, also access to the roof
- It's trap compatible
- Door-Camp proof
6. The Dream
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jis2yHLlh5s
This is a trio base that can be very demanding to raid. It takes a lot of materials but in the end, it will be worth it. Of course, the base can be used by more than 3 people, as it's made to be really compact. It takes 25+ rockets to raid this base if everything is made out of metal.
Like in the base I mentioned before, you don't need to upgrade everything, but if you are going to do that it will cost you 586 HQM, 20690 metal fragments, 28775 stone, and 51350 wood, with very high upkeep.
- Almost no BP's needed
- High upkeep
- Easy access, especially to the roof
- Highly trap compatible
- Door-Camp proof
5. The Bullhorn
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPJZdejIgjk
Also a trio base, but it can be used by many more people. Raiding this is a real pain in the ass. It takes 24 rockets to the TC and all loot. And building it can be very very expensive. That's why I recommend you to make this base with more people. It will be with you for the rest of the wipe.
It takes 350 HQM, 27000 metal fragments, 23000 stone, 19000 wood, and 57 gears. The upkeep will be very high, but in the end, everything is worth it.
- BP's needed
- High upkeep
- Easy access
- Roofcamping compatible
- Highly trap compatible
- Door-Camp proof
4. The Cerberus
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdV83KYloBs
The names of these bases are pretty dramatic. But I understand why since the bases are huge. This is mainly a solo base, but it doesn't have to be. It takes 21 rockets to the main TC and all loot, but 45 to all external TCs and storage rooms.
It takes 178 HQM, 26300 metal fragments, 15500 stone, 15500 wood, and 50 gears. I don't know how a solo can maintain this base, in reality, that's why it's recommended to be built with much more people.
- BP's needed
- High upkeep
- Easy access
- Roofcamping compatible
- Highly trap compatible
- Door-Camp proof
3. Deathknell Mini
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ub3vpanbeaY
This base is made for a group, a big group. It has multiple TCs and it's very hard to raid. If you want to deal with this you better get ready, since it's protected really good and I hope I will never have to encounter this.
It takes 700 HQM, 65000 metal fragments, 100000 stone, and no wood. It's a huge base that's secured very well, and you should be careful because it's full of traps.
- BP'S needed
- Very high upkeep
- Easy access
- Roofcamping compatible, with 3 roof bunkers and a landing pad
- Highly trap compatible, outside and inside
- Door-Camp proof
2. The Wendigo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XOCdBlHy_Jw
This base is designed for a clan. It's a literal powerhouse that can beat an offline raid alone. It's designed very good, and if you ever see this base on a server, the people that run the base probably run the server too. It's full of armored layers.
It takes 734 HQM, 89000 metal fragments, and 83000 stones. The need for wood is basically eradicated, you'll have to have a lot of people if you want to make it.
- BP's needed
- Very high upkeep
- Easy access, multiple armored layers
- Roofcamping compatible, with a lot of protection
- Highly trap compatible, outside and inside
- Door-Camp proof
1. The Armada
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrEQ03jk_-8
This base is insane, it's a very good designed start-to-main base that can be used throughout the whole playthrough. You will need a lot of people like really, a lot of people to build this base and to maintain it. To reach all the loot you will need over 150 rockets which is just insane.
It needs 1600 HQM, 190k metal fragments, 160k stone, 170k wood, and 280 gears. Good luck to those who want to build this and maintain it, the upkeep is enormously high.
- BP's certainly needed
- Extreme upkeep
- Easy access, countless armored layers
- Great protected core
- Roofcamping compatible, with a lot of protection
- Highly trap compatible, outside and inside
- Door-Camp immune
