S-tier:

To start off we have S-tier, in this tier operators must be well rounded in every criterion. Operators in S-tier can adapt to a change and recover when they are in a bad spot. They also have abilities that can help themselves and the team.

S-Tier Attackers

Jackal: (S-Tier Attacker)

Image
Body Image

Jackal is the best attacker simply because the moment he enters the building he is a threat to the entire defending team. His tracking ability will send a roaming strategy to shreds in an instant. His ability to send teams into panic makes him valuable to any attacking team. With a reasonably high win rate of 50.5 percent should you play him well your team will be a formidable force when it comes to taking the enemy objective.

Stats:

  • Speed: 2
  • Armor: 2

Best Weapon Loadout:

Primary Weapon: C7E | Sight: Reflex | Attachment: Compensator | Grip: Vertical | Secondary Weapon: USP40 | Attachment: Compensator | Gadget: Claymore

Strengths:

  • Countering both roaming and anchoring players
  • His claymore can cover flanks

Weaknesses:

  • Mute’s jammers

Hibana: (S-Tier Attacker)

Image
Body Image
Hibana’s X-KAIROS breaching rounds are as versatile as they get. Being able to make 3 holes in the objective countering anchors is a necessity when it comes to ranked play. Her Type-89 rifle is accurate and consistent. Her ability allows her to adapt on the fly, so if she needs to use her KAIROS to get into the objective she can. With a win rate of 50.5 percent, should you keep the objective in chaos with your KAIROS, then your team will have good chances of winning.

Stats:

  • Speed: 3
  • Armor: 1

Best Weapon Loadout:

Primary Weapon: Type-89 | Sight: Reflex | Attachment: Compensator | Grip: Vertical | Secondary Weapon: P229 | Attachment: Compensator | Gadget: Breach Charges

Strengths:

  • Distracting the enemy team with breaches
  • Putting stress on anchors and locking down doorways

Weaknesses:

  • Mute’s jammers
  • Bandit/Kaid

Thermite: (S-Tier Attacker)

Image
Body Image
Thermites charges are useful when it comes to completely destroying an enemy team’s reinforced walls allowing for your team to enter or fight the enemy defenders. His ability is very basic and easy to get the hang of so for new players or pros he is a good operator to try out. His rifle has very little recoil and does high amounts of damage. His claymore provides cover from flanks and his stuns provide an easier entry to dangerous rooms. He is not as adaptable as the previous operators, but when his breach charges are used well the attackers will end up with the advantage.

Stats:

  • Speed: 3
  • Armor: 1

Best Weapon Loadout:

Primary Weapon: Type-89 | Sight: Reflex | Attachment: Compensator | Grip: Vertical | Secondary Weapon: P229 | Attachment: Compensator | Gadget: Breach Charges

Strengths:

  • Distracting the enemy team with breaches
  • Putting stress on anchors and locking down doorways.

Weaknesses:

  • Mute’s jammers
  • Bandit/Kaid

S-Tier Defenders

Lesion: (S-Tier Defender)

Image
Body Image
Lesion is a powerhouse when it comes to adapting and recovering. In an instant, he can deploy one of his 8 Gu’s to poison enemies entering doorways or windows. His trap also slows down the enemy team while damaging them. Which can buy your team time and softens up the enemy before they even get to the objective. Then you have his loadout and his T-5 SMG is incredibly accurate and can headshot players easily. Along with his impact grenades, he can open walls in an instant to get away from a sticky situation. With a win rate of 56.2, it is safe to say that if you play lesion to his strengths you have a pretty good chance of coming out on top.

Stats:

  • Speed: 2
  • Armor: 2

Best Weapon Loadout:

Primary Weapon: T-5 | Sight: Reflex | Attachment: Compensator | Grip: Vertical | Secondary Weapon: Q-929 | Attachment: Compensator | Gadget: Impact Grenade

Strengths:

  • Roaming
  • Setting Traps
  • Ambushing attacking players

Weaknesses:

  • Jackal

Valkyrie: (S-Tier Defender)

Image
Body Image
Valkyrie’s Black Eye cameras are one of the most useful intel gadgets in the game. They make end round rushes easier to deal with and provide extra knowledge to roaming players earlier in the round. Her loadout is great whether you use her shotgun or her SMG. Her Desert Eagle provides a good fallback should you get in a tight spot. Her win rate is an impressive 54.3 percent. All I can say is if you are playing Valkyrie with your team’s roamers in mind you will have a successful game.

Stats:

  • Speed: 2
  • Armor: 2

Best Weapon Loadout:

Primary Weapon: MPX | Sight: Reflex | Attachment: Compensator | Grip: Vertical | Secondary Weapon: D-50 | Attachment: Muzzle Break | Gadget: Nitro Cell

Strengths:

  • Spotting on Cameras
  • Callouts
  • Traps with her Nitro Cell

Weaknesses:

  • Thatcher
  • Jackal
  • Maverick

Kaid: (S-Tier Defender)

Image
Body Image

Kaid is a polished version of Bandit; his Electro Claw can not only electrocute more than Bandit’s gadget can, but they are difficult to find. His AUG A3 is excellent for close-quarters combat and his .44 Mag provides him a long-range alternative. Kaid can change strategy quickly from an anchor to a roamer or vice-versa. Kaid’s win rate is a decent 54.4 percent, meaning his gadget really makes the difference when it comes to defense.

Stats:

  • Speed: 1
  • Armor: 3

Best Weapon Loadout:

Primary Weapon: AUG A3 | Sight: Reflex | Attachment: Compensator | Grip: Vertical | Secondary Weapon: .44 Mag | Attachment: N/A | Gadget: Nitro Cell

Strengths:

  • Preventing Breaches on reinforced walls
  • Anchoring in objective

Weaknesses:

  • Thatcher
  • Maverick

Echo: (S-Tier Defender)

Image
Body Image

Echo’s Yokai drone is useful for both intel and disrupting the diffuser. His drones can disorientate enemies weakening them or allowing for your team to stall for time. His gun is fantastic for anchoring and combined with a deployable shield it is almost mandatory for Echo to anchor. His win rate is 54.4 like Kaid meaning his drones really make the difference for the defending team.

Stats:

  • Speed: 1
  • Armor: 3

Best Weapon Loadout:

Primary Weapon: MPX | Sight: Reflex | Attachment: Compensator | Grip: Vertical | Secondary Weapon: D-50 | Attachment: Muzzle Break | Gadget: Nitro Cell

Strengths:

  • Spotting on cameras
  • Callouts
  • Anchoring in objective

Weaknesses:

  • Thatcher
  • IQ
  • Maverick

Mozzie: (S-Tier Defender)

Image
Body Image
Mozzie’s Pest Launcher allows him to capture enemy drones. This changes the game in terms of intel operators. When he has 3 captured drones on the field he can spot attackers completely under their radar. His guns are incredibly easy to use. Mozzie’s drones provide your team with the movements of the enemy. Allowing him to quickly adapt to a new strategy. His Commando is mobile and easy to control. His nitro cell is useful for taking out multiple enemies or destroying walls between objectives. He has one of the higher win rates of 55.9 percent. Like Echo and Valkyrie if you play Mozzie to provide info for your team you should be able to thwart the attackers with relative ease.

Stats:

  • Speed: 2
  • Armor: 2

Best Weapon Loadout:

Primary Weapon: Commando | Sight: Reflex | Attachment: Compensator | Grip: Vertical | Secondary Weapon: SDP 9mm | Attachment: Compensator | Gadget: Nitro Cell

Strengths:

  • Spotting on Cameras
  • Callouts

Weaknesses:

  • Thatcher
  • IQ

Doc: (S-Tier Defender)

Image
Body Image
Doc gives you and your 3 mulligans for getting shot. His ability to anchor in an objective and heal allies allows him and your team to adapt to a changing environment. His MP5 is an excellent weapon to anchor in the objective. Along with his deployable shield, we have another simple operator that provides an important ability to the team. With a win rate of 54.7 percent.

Stats:

  • Speed: 1
  • Armor: 3

Best Weapon Loadout:

Primary Weapon: MP5 | Sight: Reflex | Attachment: Compensator | Grip: Vertical | Secondary Weapon: P-9 | Attachment: Muzzle Brake | Gadget: Nitro Cell

Strengths:

  • Anchoring
  • Healing Teammates

Weaknesses:

  • Jackal
  • Maverick

A-Tier- A tier is for the operators that don’t quite have the adaptability or the win rates as S-tier. Making them good fallback operators in the event one of the above operators getting chosen or banned.

A-Tier Attackers

Zero: (A-Tier Attacker)

Image
Body Image
Zero’s Argus Launcher provides the attacking team with a new type of camera that can take out gadgets. This allows for the attacking team to dwindle the defending team's traps while gaining intel on their position. His frag grenades are a great counter to anchors. His win rating has yet to be released. Should you play zero like a normal intel operator then your team will be as adaptable as a defensive team with Mozzie.

Stats:

  • Speed: 2
  • Armor: 2

Best Weapon Loadout:

Primary Weapon: MP7 | Sight: Reflex | Attachment: Compensator | Grip: Vertical | Secondary Weapon: 5.7 | Attachment: Compensator | Gadget: Frag Grenade

Strengths:

  • Anchoring
  • Healing Teammates

Weaknesses:

  • Caviera
  • Lesion
  • Echo

Nomad: (A-Tier Attacker)

Image
Body Image
Nomad’s Airjab’s are a direct counter to flanking roamers. Nomad’s ability can also be used to fortify the objective when the diffuser is placed making diffusing more viable. Her AK-74M is her best weapon and her .44 Mag is excellent as a backup. With a win rating of 49.1 percent, she may not look like she has what it takes. However, when you find yourself surrounded by the enemy team with a planted diffuser Nomad’s gadget can make the difference.

Stats:

  • Speed: 2
  • Armor: 2

Best Weapon Loadout:

Primary Weapon: AK-74M | Sight: Acog | Attachment: Compensator | Grip: Vertical | Secondary Weapon: .44 Mag | Attachment: N/A | Gadget: Breach Charge

Strengths:

  • Watching flanks

Weaknesses:

  • Caviera
  • Echo

Zofia: (A-Tier Attacker)

Image
Body Image
Zofia is the best solo attacking operator. Her impact grenade launcher is a great makeshift breaching device and her concussion grenades are good for disorienting camping enemies. Her win rate is 49.7 percent, which is not as high as I would like it to be. Make no mistake though in the hands of a good player she can hold one side of the map while the rest of the team pushes the other side.

Stats:

  • Speed: 2
  • Armor: 2

Best Weapon Loadout:

Primary Weapon: LMG-E | Sight: Acog | Attachment: Compensator | Grip: Vertical | Secondary Weapon: RG15 | Attachment: Compensator | Gadget: Claymore

Strengths:

  • Watching flanks

Weaknesses:

  • Caviera
  • Echo
  • Trap operators

Maverick: (A-Tier Attacker)

Image
Body Image
Maverick is the only pure counter to anchoring players. His ability allows him to burn holes in walls almost silently so he can stealthily kill unsuspecting defenders. In the hands of a skilled player a maverick should be able to pick off 1 to 2 players on the enemy team allowing for the attackers to have a potentially easy round. With a win rate of 48.7 percent, he is only recommended for players that are aware of his potential.

Stats:

  • Speed: 3
  • Armor: 1

Best Weapon Loadout:

Primary Weapon: AR-15.50 | Sight: Acog | Attachment: Compensator | Grip: Vertical | Secondary Weapon: 1911 TACOPS | Attachment: Compensator | Gadget: Frag Grenades

Strengths:

  • Picking enemy defenders off one by one

Weaknesses:

  • Roamers
  • Echo
  • Players that hear him burning holes into the wall

A-Tier Defenders

Frost: (A-Tier Defender)

Image
Body Image

Frost’s bear traps are a great way of softening up the attacking team before they reach the objective. They can also be placed inside the objective to down unsuspecting players and get an easy kill. Frost has the second-highest win rating of 56.3 percent making her a good choice for a defending pick. However, her guns aren't user-friendly and her traps require some map knowledge in order to use effectively.

Stats:

  • Speed: 2
  • Armor: 2

Best Weapon Loadout:

Primary Weapon: 9mm C1 | Sight: Red Dot | Attachment: Compensator | Grip: Vertical | Secondary Weapon: Mk1 9mm | Attachment: Compensator | Gadget: Deployable Shield

Strengths:

  • Trapping windows and doors

Weaknesses:

  • Jackal
  • Maverick

Mute: (A-Tier Defender)

Image
Body Image
Mute prevents operators from using their breaching devices, and drones by placing an emp down that blocks their signal. However, it should be noted that his jammers are more effective against drones. His MP5K is superb for both roaming and holding down the objective. He has a low defending win rate of 53 percent making him a risky pick if not in the hands of a good player. When he is in the hands of a good player though he can counter an entire team of breachers.

Stats:

  • Speed: 2
  • Armor: 2

Best Weapon Loadout:

Primary Weapon: MP5K | Sight: Reflex| Attachment: Compensator | Grip: Vertical | Secondary Weapon: SMG-11 | Attachment: Compensator | Gadget: Nitro Cell

Strengths:

  • Jamming breach charges

Weaknesses:

  • Thatcher
  • IQ
  • Maverick

Jaeger: (A-Tier Defender)

Image
Body Image

Jaeger is another basic operator that can make a big difference. His gadget shoots any projectiles that come within their radius. This makes him a counter to anyone that throws/fires a projectile. He has an average win rate of 54.9 percent making him a reliable pick for good to decent players.

Stats:

  • Speed: 2
  • Armor: 2

Best Weapon Loadout:

Primary Weapon: M870 | Sight: Reflex | Attachment: Compensator | Grip: Vertical | Secondary Weapon: P12 | Attachment: Compensator | Gadget: Bulletproof Camera

Strengths:

  • Countering Fuze
  • Counters anyone with grenades

Weaknesses:

  • Jackal
  • IQ
