Wiping out humanity can be easy.
Bacteria is the first obstacle you must overcome in the world of Plague Inc. In order to take over the world with other nefarious plagues like virus, you must first take down humanity with bacteria. If you’re struggling with this crucial task, then this guide of Best Bacteria Strategies is here to help.
3. Strategy: Kill Em Casually
This strategy is more for casual players, but it is a great one nonetheless. With this, you’ll only be making use of more than just transmissions to spread your plague. Also, you’ll be spending DNA in pretty big chunks.
Step 1:
Start in the fan favorite, Saudi Arabia.
Step 2:
At 13 DNA evolve water 1 and coughing.
Step 3:
At 24-25 DNA evolve air 1.
Step 4:
At 24-25 DNA evolve water 2 and sneezing.
Step 5:
At 30 DNA evolve air 2 as well as cold resistance 1.
Step 6:
Your disease may have been noticed by now. However, there’s no need to be worried yet. When you have 38 DNA, evolve extreme bioaerosol and cold resistance 2.
Step 7:
When you have 77-80 DNA, evolve drug resistance 1 and 3, genetic hardening 1, rash, sweating, and insomnia.
Step 8:
When you have 79-83 DNA, evolve skin lesions, paranoia, genetic reshuffle 1, and genetic hardening 3.
Step 9:
By now countries are starting to get more serious about developing a cure. Continue fighting back. When you’re at 50-52 DNA, evolve genetic reshuffle 2 and immune suppression or nausea depending on what mutations you have received so far.
Step 10:
At 54 DNA, evolve genetic rehardening 3 and pneumonia if you do not have it yet.
Step 11:
Around now there should be no healthy people. Devolve all transmissions to get some DNA back.
Step 12:
With 39 DNA, evolve necrosis or insanity, preferably necrosis.
Step 11:
It’s the nail in the coffin for humanity. At 50 DNA evolve hemorrhagic shock and wipe ‘em out.
2. Strategy: On the Edge
This strategy will have you and humanity on the edge of your seat. There is the chance that humanity will progress dangerously fast with the cure, but they will still be wiped out at the end. This strategy relies heavily on transmissions to spread the disease rather than symptoms.
Step 1:
Start in India. This country is ideal because of its climate and demographic.
Step 2:
When you’re at around 14 or above DNA, invest in water 1. Water 1 is the best transmission to evolve first in this case because of India’s humid climate.
Step 3:
Save enough DNA to evolve livestock 1 (16-17), air 1 (26-27), water 2 (24-26), and air 2 (35-36) in that order.
Step 4:
You may have some mutations around this point, but do not rely on them too much. You will still need to evolve symptoms in order to be successful.
Step 5:
At 29 DNA, evolve coughing, sneezing, rash, and drug resistance. These will help get your disease around faster as well as prepare to resist the cure.
Step 6:
Save up your DNA! When you are at around 62--63 DNA, evolve cold resistance 1 and 2, pneumonia, and genetic hardening. This is to target the northern countries that are hard to infect.
Step 7:
Continue saving, and at 69 DNA evolve bird 1 and 2 as well as extreme bioaerosol.
Step 8:
When you have 64 DNA, evolve drug resistance 2 and livestock 2.
Step 9:
Between 73-80 DNA evolve skin lesions, genetic hardening 2, and genetic reshuffle 1.
Step 10:
In a bit, there should be no healthy people left. When this happens, devolve all transmissions.
Step 11:
When you have 47-52 DNA, and you haven’t already, evolve genetic reshuffle 2 and seizures or pulmonary oedema depending on what mutations you have received.
Step 12:
At this point you need the deadliest you can afford. I suggest necrosis.
Step 13:
Humanity is still working at this point, so evolve genetic reshuffle 3.
Step 14:
The killing blow. With 32 DNA evolve hemorrhagic shock.
1. Strategy: Mow Them Down
This strategy makes your win effortless. You’ll be mowing humanity down like the amazing, first rate lawn mower every dad wants to buy. Be prepared for success.
Step 1:
Start in Saudi Arabia, because why start anywhere else at this point.
Step 2:
At 14-15 DNA evolve water 1 and rash.
Step 3:
At 13-14 DNA, evolve air 1.
Step 4:
At 20 DNA evolve water 2 and insomnia.
Step 5:
At 29 DNA, evolve sweating, arit 2, and cold resistance 1.
Step 6:
Your disease is probably discovered around now, and countries are beginning to look into research. Don’t mind them.
Step 7:
Save up, and at 76-79 DNA, evolve extreme bioaerosol, coughing, drug resistance 1, cold resistance 2, genetic hardening 1, and sneezing.
Step 8:
Don’t be shy, save some more! At 93 DNA, evolve drug resistance 2, genetic hardening 2, paranoia, and genetic reshuffle 1.
Step 9:
Yup, the DNA keeps flowing in. At 87-88 DNA evolve genetic reshuffle 2 and 3 as well as skin lesions or seizures depending on the mutations you’ve gotten so far.
Step 10:
At 36-43 DNA, when your plague has hit pretty much all the countries, evolve your best friend necrosis.
Step 11:
Around now there should be no healthy people. Devolve transmissions for some pocket DNA.
Step 12:
If you can, go straight to total organ failure at around 41 DNA. However, if this is not yet an option for you, evolve immune suppression when you are at around 20 DNA, and then total organ failure later at 39 DNA.
Step 13:
That’s it, it’s over. However, if you’re feeling it, end humanity a minute or two sooner with hemorrhagic shock at 35 or more DNA.
