10 Best Forza 7 B-Class Cars
I’ll come right out and say it- the B-class doesn’t get enough love. Tucked in between the beginner friendly C-class and the more high-octane A-class, these cars don’t get the love they deserve. Learning to drive B-class cars effectively will help you rise up the ranks, and eventually get behind the wheel of something more intense. Here are 10 B-class cars you can use to keep your skills sharp.
10. Honda Civic Type-R
That’s right- a Honda Civic. Those things that you see high school kids drive around with no mufflers that sound like they’re about to explode. But the latest version of the Civic is an absolute monster in Forza. Honda’s are always a good choice for the lower classes, and this is no exception. It doesn’t quite pack the speed of some of the upcoming vehicles because of its front-wheel drive system, but the acceleration and handling more than make up for it.
9. Subaru BRZ Forza Edition
A modern collaboration between Subaru and Toyota, this car really has it all. It’s got the speed to keep your opponents on their heels, and the handling to get yourself out of a sticky situation. And most importantly, it’s fun to drive. There are endless tuning configurations you can use to make this car great, and it will perform fantastic regardless of the track. It may not have the glitz and glam of some of the other cars, but sometimes being reliable is just what the doctor ordered.
8. Subaru Impreza 22B STi Forza Edition
This car might not be winning any drag races or drift contests, but it has one very important factor that puts it on the list- it is fun as hell to drive. There’s something brilliant about strapping yourself into an AWD rally car and taking turns like a moron. Really throwing around that chassis and making all the rear-wheel drive chumps pay for getting in your way. Satisfying doesn’t even begin to describe it. You can convert it into a rear-wheel drive vehicle, but you lose so much charm that it’s not really worth it.
7. Lamborghini Countach
I know, I know… the beginning of the article made it seem like you wouldn’t be seeing any of this Italian supercar crap. But the Countach is too good to be ignored. The first version of what we imagine when we think of Lamborghini today, this car is blinding fast on the straights. Although it will need some tuning to really be able to compete against the best, you won’t be shooting yourself in the foot if you decide to use it.
6. Lotus Elise
Lotus’ are known for their handling. The Elise is no exception- it has better grip and handling than most all wheel drive rally cars, while still maintaining an incredibly light weight. Although you’re going to end up in the morgue if you get hit by something even slightly larger than a bug, it shouldn’t deter you from really pushing this car to the max. Once you get ahead of the pack, only the most experienced drivers will be able to catch up. Tune it right and you’ll be able to take turns like you’re playing Mario Kart.
5. Honda S2000
Another car that has also appeared on previous top 10 lists, the S2000 is more than deserving of a spot on this one as well. The little Honda may not look like much at first glance, but the precision and control that this car offers to even the least experienced drivers is unrivaled. This is usually one of the first cars I buy in any Forza game, to test out how the driving mechanics differ. Plus- it helps that the engine sounds badass.
4. Chevrolet Camaro 2002
You may remember this car from the drag strip, where it was one of the best cars to melt off faces with. But even without massive engine upgrades, this car is a force to be reckoned with at B-class. Although it doesn’t have the finesse of the previous two cars, it more than makes up for it with raw aggressiveness. The Camaro is fast, mean, and takes no prisoners. If you want something with a little more bite, this is your car.
3. Alpha Romeo 33 Stradale
Another blast from the past- as well as another previous top 10 car. When purchased from the marketplace, the Stradale comes equipped with a performance index of 600, the maximum amount that a car can have and still be in this class. While it may not be as fun or sexy as some of the other cars on the list, it belongs here simply because of how good it is. These retro cars really make a killing in B-class. Top notch handling, great speed, and a vintage edge. Definitively deserving of a top-3 spot \
2. Porsche 718 RS 60
In continuing our retro car fixation, we have an old school Porsche that can hold its own against even the most modern B-class cars. Although it’s a bit tricky to get a handle on at first because of the touchy throttle, a few races in this car will have you feeling confident. I personally prefer a speed-based tune as opposed to a handling one, but you can adjust it on a track-by-track basis. You’re going to place top 3 regardless. Sometimes, it’s fun to just not even launch at the start of the race, and just sit there and stare at how pretty this car is.
1. Alpha Romeo Giulia TZ2
Not only is this one of the best cars in B-class, it is one of the best cars in the entire game. And that’s not just due to how gorgeous it looks. This car packs an absolutely insane acceleration rate, one that will easily enable you to overtake your fellow drivers if they get a bit aggressive with their lines. Although it is not “designed” for speed-based tracks, you will be able to blow by nearly anyone who doesn’t have their head in the game.
End of the Line
There you have it guys, the 10 B-class cars you can use to make a killing on track day. Just because a car isn’t packing a V8 engine and a body kit doesn’t mean you can’t have a ton of fun with it. B-class is often neglected, and it’s a real shame. I feel that being able to handle yourself in B-class is a requirement to handling the more supercharged machines in the game. So give some of these cars a whirl, and have a blast while you get one step closer to driving that Pagani.
