Hey guys have you been playing Dota, landing all your Cs, and can’t seem to figure out what to build? Have you been wasting time in-game shopping? Well, I’m here to put your mind at ease, so without further delay let’s dive in.
5. Meteor-Meme Build:
So the first build we’re going to cover has long since circulated the Dota community as the Meteor-Hammer meme build, Although more and more people have begun using this as tried and true Riki build.
About this Build:
The Meteor hammer build though popular is not a full-proof method of gaining MMR. Although it does feature strong engagements in combination with Riki’s permanent stealth. It does bring an entirely new intensity to Riki’s kite and fight playstyle, I would recommend trying this out at least once.
Build Strengths:
- Helps with Riki’s mana problem or should I say lack thereof
- Brings amazing lockdown potential with the one and a half-second stun
- Can channel from stealth
- The item’s mid-game fall off can be corrected with Riki’s Aghanim’s Shard

4. Fury Build:
When you think flash-farm what items come to mind? What comes to my mind is the good ole fashioned Battlefury. A great farming item for those melee heroes we love so much.
About This Build:
The battle fury build is a very “safe” build meaning these items are good for most stages of a match. I think when I played it I had enough damage and survivability to successfully engage and fight before having to kite out. Now this build does allow you to farm a lot faster, and more farm means more exp, gold, and levels. Having this edge allows you to out scale your opponents ultimately leading to more kills and that Godlike Rampage.
Build Strengths:
- Increased Survivability
- Safe items
- Good Damage
- Fast Farm
- Good Regen

3. Classic Riki Build:

Sometimes it’s nice to just have a nice brain-dead pub game where you aren't overly concerned with what items to build and what order to grab your abilities. This build is great for just that covering most of your bases for Classic Riki gameplay.
About This Build:
Well, I hold this build in high regard as it was the first build I ever ran with Riki. Now for what it is worth this is a great build but the effectiveness can lapse when put against team comps that have a lot of Crowd control. Building an Abyssal blade if you feel like you could use more damage is a great solution as it also comes with a stun to help lock down the most slippery of enemies.
Build Strengths:
- Beginner Friendly
- Decently low gold cost
- Great Damage
- Offers decent lockdown

2. 7.29 Dota 2 C Riki Build:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vC8NeccKyy0&t=78s
So this is the I’ve had a bad day so now you’ll suffer for it build. Why do I call it that? Oh, you know the hard damage focus of the build definitely isn’t the reason (yes it is).
About This Build:
So I’ve tried this build and maybe you can pull it off better than me. This build although it has BKB built in that is the only bit of reliable survivability the build has. Utilizing Butterfly one of the items that grant evasion will increase your fighting capabilities and Manta-style can give you those quick projectile disjoints that you need in a pinch. You can take large damage chunks when you finish your Daedalus making already devastating crits even deadlier.
Build Strengths:
- Incredible damage output
- Good fighting against right-click heroes
- Eye of Skadi makes taking out tanky opponents easier
- The Items compliment Riki’s backstab damage multiplier very well

1. Support Riki:
https://www.dotafire.com/dota-2/guide/support-roaming-riki-26598
Rikimaru has gone far and wide from safe lane carry all the way to our final build today, Support Riki. Now I know what you’re thinking how is this going to get me a Godlike rampage just stay tuned.
About This Build:
With so many ways to build this hero, it doesn’t surprise me that someone took him as a support. On paper, it’s not bad and a truly skilled support player will be able to pull this off, using his invisibility as a scout and ward exterminator Riki can light the way to his team’s victory. Now this being an old build the item Poor man’s shield is no longer in the game but could be easily replaced with a wraith band. His early boots grab being Boots of Tranquility make harassing your lane opponents less hazardous to your health. With many of the items that are considered core for Riki still in this build his damage won’t be outstanding but if left unattended to even support Riki could prove to be deadly. With the build calling for Eul’s this brings excellent crowd control into the hands of the unseen assassin, save yourself, save your ally, or condemn your enemy the choice will be yours. Overall this build would be a great pick-up in the hands of the experienced.
Build Strengths:
- Decent early game regen
- De-warding multiples Riki’s presence
- Increased Crowd control
- Can get in and out with Blink dagger easily
