The Seocho Electronics Mark 1 is a Cyberware Operating System of Uncommon Quality, manufactured by Seocho Electronics. Officially marketed with the following description: "NetWatch statistics show this is the most common deck for any kind of break-in. Why? Because it's cost-effective, user-friendly and doesn't crap out when you need something done quickly and quietly." In other words, a great starter deck for any gatos building their Street Cred.
For an early game deck, especially for those who are just starting out, this deck is perfect. There is no Street Cred level required–only 6,000 eddies. Plus, this deck has 2 more RAM than your starting deck, plus the effect of decreasing the cost of RAM by 1, when completing covert quickhacks. With 3 mod slots, you also have the ability to upgrade your deck to your personal play style.
What Makes The Seocho Electronics MK.1 Great
- You do not need any Street Cred to purchase this deck. And for only €$ 6,000, this is a great deck for those starting out.
- This deck is a great upgrade from your starter deck (which only has 2 RAM and no effects).
- The effect of decreasing the cost of RAM by 1 for covert quickhacks is a great help in situations when you are trying to infiltrate heavily guarded areas without alerting the enemy.

Charles can be found in the center of Watson, right on the northern border of the Kabuki neighborhood. His shop can be found down a small alley that is to the left to the main road opposite a large factory dock.

- Nina Kraviz in Charter Hill
Nina Kraviz in her clinic.
Nina can be found in her shop, Kraviz’s Clinic, in the middle of Charter Hill, a luxurious neighborhood in Westbrook. Her clinic is located on Grant Avenue, near the Luxury Apartments fast travel point. The entrance can be found under a Medical Assistance sign on a tall building in between Pardey and Palm street.

- Ripperdoc in Arroyo
The unnamed Arroyo Ripperdoc.
This unnamed Arroyo Ripperdoc is one of two in the area. He can be found on the East side of Santo Domingo in Arroyo. The shop can be found along the riverfront that separates Heywood and Santo Domingo. His shop is under a freeway overpass, under a Ripperdoc sign near a BD Shack sign at the very last building on the riverfront.

This deck is a great option for those interested in a combination of stealth and direct combat. With quickhack cooldown time reduced by 30% and in-combat quickhack duration increased by 30%, this build allows rapid fire quickhacks and extends their duration during combat, providing a solid netrunner build with added combat benefits.

This unnamed Ripperdoc can be found on the eastern side of Japantown in Westbrook. This is one of two ripperdocs in the area, but this one is unnamed (the other is Fingers). This Ripperdoc’s shop can be found down a set of stairs to the side of the highway, to the right of a square named Cherry Blossom Market. Their shop will say “Medical Assistance” in neon letters near the stairs.

Officially described the same as the Mark 1, this cyberdeck has increased base RAM, buffer size, and mod slots, with an additional effect that its predecessor did not have.
This deck is a great option for those interested in stealth and netrunning. With less RAM used for covert hacks and quick hack upload time reduced by 25%, this deck is sure to set you on the path of becoming a nova netrunner.

This unnamed Ripperdoc can be found to the far easter side of the West Wind Estate in east Pacifica, very close to the edge of the city. Near the West Wind Apartments fast travel point, the shop is in between two tall buildings on the street leading out of the city. The shop is in the street between the two buildings, with an armed guard standing outside the entrance under a “Ripperdoc” sign.

2. Biotech Σ MK.2
The Biotech Σ Mark 2 implanted as the current operating system in the Cyberware screen.
The Biotech Σ Mark 2 is a Cyberware Operating System of Rare Quality, manufactured by Biotech Σ. Officially described as: "A popular cyberdeck among netrunners whose equipment relies on speedy RAM recovery. On that front, the augmented Biotech coprocessors easily get the job done."
With some of the highest base RAM for decks available early on, this is not a deck you want to pass on. On top of that, this deck’s 9 units per 60 seconds RAM recovery makes this deck a beast for rapid-fire quickhacks!
What Makes The Biotech Σ MK.2 Great
- The base RAM of 7 is one of the highest out of any decks you can obtain under 13 Street Cred, and high RAM is what you want–the higher the RAM, the more hacks you are able to perform.
- On top of the high base RAM, the effect of 9 units of RAM recovery per 60 seconds is incredibly high; this means that you can utilize multiple quickhacks or maybe an ultimate hack and recover the RAM a minute later; this is fantastic when you are outnumbered.
- The added effect of 10% extra damage dealt by quickhacks also aids in combat situations.

- Fingers in Japantown

Fingers can be found on the eastern side of Japantown in Westbrook. He is one of two ripperdocs in the area, but the other is unnamed. In fact, their shops are only separated by a large building. Finger’s shop can be found down Jig Jig Street in the Red Light district. If you follow the path down and take a left, you’ll find an alley leading to “Fingers MD” in neon lights. Head up the stairs, following the neon signs, and you’ll meet him.
*It is important to note that you will meet Fingers during “The Space In Between,” a main story quest, and depending on how you treat him, you may not be able to purchase cyberware from him. If you decide to rough him up during the mission, you will never be able to buy from him.

1. BioDyne MK.2

The BioDyne Mark 2 is a Cyberware Operating System of Rare Quality, manufactured by BioDyne Systems. Officially described as: “A practical and amply-spacious cyberdeck. One of the more basic and affordable models known for its substantial performance output."
Finding a cyberdeck with a base RAM of 9, with only 12 Street Cred required, is absolutely insane! Most of the cyberdecks with 8+ RAM require a minimum of 30 Street Cred. You cannot pass up a cyberdeck that only requires 12 Street Cred €$ 10,000–talk about a steal!
What Makes The BioDyne MK.2 Great
- The base RAM of 9 is highest out of any decks you can obtain this early in the game, and high RAM is what you want–the higher the RAM, the more hacks you are able to perform. And listen here chooms, a base RAM of 9 is incredibly high! In fact, the highest possible base RAM of any cyberdeck in the game is 11, and that is for a deck not available until 40 SC. So to get a base RAM of 9 at only 12 SC is not a deal you can pass up.
- On top of the high base RAM, the effect of 3 units of RAM recovery per 60 seconds is an added bonus.This means that you can utilize multiple quickhacks or an ultimate hack and recover a third or more of the RAM a minute later–this is fantastic when you are outnumbered.
- It cannot be overlooked the fact that this deck–with some of the highest base RAM in the game–is available at SC 12 for only €$ 10,000. You cannot get any deck with a comparable or higher base RAM until SC 30! This is not a deck to pass up.
BioDyne MK.2 Stats
- Base RAM: 9
- Buffer Size: 6
- Mod Slots: 4
- Effects: Increases cyberdeck RAM recovery rate by 3 units per 60 seconds.
How To Get The BioDyne MK.2
Once you reach 12 Street Cred, you can purchase this deck for €$ 10,000, from:
- Aldecaldos Ripperdoc in Rocky Ridge

The Aldecaldos Ripperdoc can be found at a Mobile Camp Fast Travel point at an isolated spot that is north of the main roads leading east of Night City, north of the main highway that leads to the majority of the Badlands community. The shop in the Mobile Camp will be north of the main roads, surrounded by windmills.
*It is important to note that since this Ripperdoc is a Aldecaldos Nomad, he will move with the Aldecaldos after you advance their questline. This means his location will vary.
