Black desert is interesting as far as MMOs go, it is a game that is heavily geared towards casual and solo players.
The game is only really “Massively multiplayer” in that the world is full of other players who you will see but never really interact with. The majority of the game's content is meant to be played solo, outside of world bosses, guild activities, and the rare co-op dungeon. Most players will spend most of their time going it alone.
Why play solo?
You may be asking “ Why should I play alone instead of with friends? The short answer is you shouldn't. Play with whoever or however you find the most fun. That said, there are a few bonuses to playing solo. Aside from the game largely being designed to be played alone for the most part, Exp and loot is divided amongst party members. So, if you’re looking to level or gather materials the fastest way is to play solo.
Since most players will spend the majority of their time alone, let's go over the top five best classes for solo play.
1. Nova.
Nova
Coming in at the top of the list is Nova. Arguably one of if not the best class in the game thanks to her awakening. - When awakened Nova both has the speed to quickly cover ground, and high damage to clear groups of enemies quickly.
- Nova has plenty of skills with at least some I-frames and a good evasion skill. Making her good at avoiding damage.
