These frankly absurd mounts have all the base horse skills learned right off the bat as well as having improved stats and special abilities that put them head and shoulders over the other mounts. 1. First up is the fiery Doom horse.
Doom Horse
The doom dream horse is the most PVP focused of the three types of dream horses. Having several skills to deal damage or stun enemies. Making it perfect for players with more aggressive play styles or who want an offencive mount.
The Doom horse excels in both PVP and PVE.
- It is the only horse that can carry more than one rider. Thanks to its two-seater skill. Making it good for group play.
- Its unique triple excel skill makes it good at traversing flat lands, that is if players are directing it manually instead of using the auto path system.
- The doom horse’s unique abilities Dark Flame Steps and dark sprint allow players to do damage from horseback. With both having a fiery area of effect that can dismount other players from their mounts.
Choose the Doom horse if:
- You want your mount to deal damage and be used for PVP/PVE activities. The Doom is especially good for gaining knowledge from low level enemies thanks to its AOE skills.
- Want to taxi friends who don’t have mounts of their own. The Doom horse is the only horse that can learn the two-seater skill. Allowing it to carry two players.
- Want to get into the Node War PVP. The doom horses does high damage to structures making it good for node wars.
2. The support focused Dine\Unicorn
The Dine
The unicorn or Dine horse is all about support abilities and defense. It is also the only horse in the game that doesn’t suffer a penalty in the desert, that combined with its healing skills make it perfect for players who spent a lot of time in the western parts of the map.
The Dine Excels at:
- Traversing the desert as it doesn’t get movement penalties on sand and can use its sprint and acceleration skills in the desert.
- Defense. The Dine has the highest defensive stats of any horse in the game. Allowing it to take more punishment than other mounts.
- Support, the Dine’s Earth of life skill restores both health and stamina for 300 a tick in an area around it. Making it great for keeping yourself or your party in the action.
Choose the Dine if:
- You’re worried about your horse taking damage from mobs, as the Dines defense gives it better survivability than other mounts.
- Spend a lot of time in the desert. The dine doesn’t get movement penalties in the desert and its support skills can neutralize the damage from heat stroke.
- You want a mount with strong defensive and support abilities. If you're looking for a mount to keep yourself and your friends up during encounters, then look no further than the Dine.
3. The Flying Ardunantt, otherwise known as the Pegasus.

The Arduanatt or Pegasus is the fastest horse currently in Black Desert, while also having the most maneuverability thanks to its wings. It also has the unique ability to regenerate health and stamina passively while not being ridden thanks to its Coursers spirit skill.
The Arduanatt / Pegasus excels at:
- Taking shortcuts thanks to its ability to glide. Whether it is jumping up a mountain or flying off one, the Pegasus’s ability to glide makes traveling a breeze.
- Auto pathing. The Pegasus has the fastest auto run of all the mounts in the game making it great for crossing long distances without having to directly control it.
- Sustaining itself. The Arduanatt’s Courser spirit recovers its health and stamina over time meaning players don’t have to manually recover them at a stable saving silver.
Choose the Arduanatt if:
- You want a mount that can cross the map quickly without having to manually direct it.
- You want to explore every nook or high place without having to dismount. The Arduanatt’s double jump and flight abilities mean that you can get pretty much anywhere with enough determination.
- You just want to get to where you’re going as fast as possible. The natural speed of the Pegasus and its kit mean that players can essentially run in a straight line to their destination 90% of the time. Being able to simply go over most obstacles really cuts down travel time.
Of course, players aren't limited to just one dream horse, so if your first choice isn't all you thought it would be, you can always try for another. Or collect them all to have the right mount for every situation.
