The year is 2084. The place is Paris. A mega-corporation, Memorize, has developed the technology to allow people to upload and share their memories on the net, giving them a great degree of control over the people. This enables Memorize to set up a surveillance state. In revolt, a group of rebels form the "Errorist", an underground organization tasked to take down Memorize.

Nilin, a memory hunter who works for the Errorist gets stripped of nearly all her memories by Memorize. Now, with the help of a mysterious man named Edge, she must go on a mission to take down Memorize and recover her lost memories.
