It's hard to choose just 10 of our favourite League of Legends skins.

Over the years, League of Legends has had a lot of skins for their champions. Some still available today for purchase, some of them archived and very rarely brought back for a limited time. With so many skins available, it was hard to choose just a few of our favourites, but it had to be done, so here are our top ten best champion skins in the history of League of Legends. 

 

1) Blood Moon Kennen 

Dark themes and red lightening, this skin gives a more dangerous look to an adorable little Yordle.

Released February 25th 2016, this awesome looking skin for the ninja-like Yordle is still available for purchase and costs 975 Riot Points. It's one of the coolest looking skins in the game.

2) Wicked Lulu 

Flying cats and a wicked grin, Lulu shows her darker side with this creepy skin.

Released March 20th 2016, this dark twist on a normally sweet little Yordle makes for one of our favourite skins in the game. With it's devilishly adorable look, this skin is still available for purchase for 975 Riot Points.

3) Meowkai 

Maokai becomes one with the cats in this adorable skin, with his saplings following his lead.

An adorable skin that includes Maokai in a cat onesie and his regular saplings being kittens instead, this skin was released April 1st 2016 as one of the April Fool's day skins and is still available for 1350 Riot Points.

4) Reverse Annie 

 They may have switched looks, but they're still a terrifying duo.

Annie and her bear Tibbers trade places in this cute skin, though they're no less powerful despite the costume change. This fantastic skin was released September 5th 2011 and is still available for 975 Riot Points.

5) Definitely Not Blitzcrank 

Who's that handsome devil? Is he a new champion?

Blitzcrank? Who's that? Fool your teammates and opponents with this skin, you'll leave them wondering what champion you're playing and when were they released. This skin was released on October 29th 2011 and removed from the store October 31st 2011.

6) Jurassic Cho'Gath 

Reminiscent of Jurassic Park, this skin brings those old bones back to life.

A skeletal approach to the ever-growing monster that is Cho'Gath, this skin is perfect for all those Jurassic Park lovers. Released November 1st 2011, this skin is still available for 975 Riot Points.

7) Risen Fiddlesticks 

Fiddlesticks has risen from his tomb in the pyramids to strike fear in the hearts of everyone.

One of our very favourite skins, Risen Fiddlesticks brings an ancient look to a spooky scarecrow, making him all that more terrifying. This skin was released April 30th 2015 and is still available for purchase for 1350 Riot Points.

8) Void Fizz 

With the help of a terrifying void creature, Fizz brings a little bit of the void to every day life.

There's just something about the dark and spookiness of this skin that goes with Fizz as a champion. This short fish isn't a champion to be taken lightly, and this skin makes sure people know not to mess with him. It was released April 7th 2014 and is still available for 1350 Riot Points.

9) Gentleman Gnar 

A strikingly handsome skin, Gnar brings a little bit of class to the game.

Gnar may be prehistoric, but even the most prehistoric Yordles can be gentlemen, unless he gets mad of course. This high-class skin was released July 13th 2015 and is still available for 975 Riot Points.

10) DJ Sona 

Just one of three themes for this skin, Kinect is the starting theme for the skin.

This unique skin not only includes three slightly different versions of the skin, but also includes different versions of electronic style music that yourself and your teammates can listen to as you play. DJ Sona was released February 25th 2015 and is still available for 3250 Riot Points.

All in all, it was hard to narrow this list down to only ten skins, there are many more awesome ones that the game has had in the past and has currently.
