In Prison Architect, you build and run a maximum security prison. Thing is, it’s not as simple as keeping prisoners behind bars. You’ll need to feed them, keep them healthy, as well as make sure there are enough guards to prevent and control criminal shenanigans. The plumbing needs to work, too. Or maybe you’ll need an exercise area or an execution chamber. So you’ll need to keep maintaining and upgrading those facilities, as more and more prisoners get jailed. The game also has a Story Mode, which follows the tale of a man on death row, and Escape Mode, which puts you in the shoes of a prisoner trying to escape prison by any means necessary, such as starting a riot or digging an underground tunnel. Grey Goo
The real-time strategy is far from dead, thanks to phenomenal titles such as Grey Goo. Grey Goo is asymmetrical – its three races are vastly different from each other. The high tech humans are defensive, focusing on creating networks of structures, the use of robotics, and teleportation. The fascinating and highly adaptive Goo are amorphous, gelatinous blobs of nanobots that can literally swallow anything in their path. They have no structures and are fluid in every sense of the word. The Beta are the most ordinary of the factions, but even they bring much to the table with their heavy firepower and fine selection of mechs. The three factions battle for survival on the planet Ecosystem Nine in one of the best PC games of 2015.
