The careers available in The Sims 4 base game are fine to begin with, but once you’ve been playing for a while, they are less than extensive. 15. Mortician Career

If you like things on the spooky side, this career is for you! Your sim can progress up to level 10 by building logic and charisma skills. This career even comes with 16 custom chance cards, made by creator MarlynSims.

The pay is great for this career and is perfect for a sim who is a little spooky.

14. Cosmetology Career

This career by ItsKatato is super fun! Your sim will be able to choose from three different cosmetology branches – hairstylist, esthetician, and nail technician. Eventually, your sim will become the owner of a salon.

If you love giving people makeovers, this mod is for you. It is an active career mod that is great fun and is different from all other career options in the base game. This mod does require Island Living, Get Famous, or Get To Work.

With this career by KiaraSims4Mods, you’ll start off as a receptionist and work your way up until you own your own real estate agency. This mod requires the Get Famous pack. You’ll need to work on your charisma and list properties for sale to advance through the levels.

Sims with a degree in university will jump to level 4! This career is great fun and allows you to list properties for sale and help sims find their perfect home.

12. Interactive Daycare Career

If you were a Sims 3 fan, you might remember the daycare profession. This mod is an interactive career that gives you a new version of that! To make the career work, you select work from home. You then select a custom social event called ‘Run Daycare’ which will spawn 2-5 toddlers from your save, and you’ll then need to take care of them.

The creator, ItsKatato, has made a daycare venue so you can actively go to work! You can also change any existing lot to a daycare venue. There are 5 levels to progress through. You get paid §120 per day per child, plus a weekly stipend depending on your level. This mod requires a couple of other mods, as well as Get-To-Work and the Toddler Stuff pack.

This fun career comes with 10 levels. Once you reach the top level, you’ll earn around §4000 simoleons a day! This career comes with 35 custom chance cards, 135 chance card outcomes and 135 buffs. Overall, this is a super fun career for the budding artist.

This great career by MarlynSims is super fun! It comes with 35 custom chance cards, custom buffs, 39 custom interactions, and 2 career branches. It is base game compatible and has 4 different levels before you decide on which branch to move into.

The two available branches are aesthetic surgery (cosmetic) or reconstructive surgery. Each promotion comes with large promotion bonuses and great pay.

This is another career by MarlynSims and it’s incredibly detailed! The city living expansion is required. This career is semi-active, meaning your sims can work from home and complete tasks. They receive §220 Simoleons per task and will receive 4 tasks per day.

Tasks include advertise therapy services, complete a therapy session, diagnose a client, post personal mantra, respond to client emails, and more. This mod comes with 374 new interactions and also a new skill – the therapy skill! The therapist can even diagnose sims with 23 different mental disorders, as well as provide therapy sessions to clients with 37 different focuses.
