What about Marksmen?
Marksmen are the damage dealers of the game who are responsible for so much of the mayhem that happens. They often have low health, are susceptible to many threats, and require a lot of time before having a significant impact on the game. To use them and to use them well, both strategic offense and strategic defense are crucial, implying a demanding yet thrilling experience for players bold enough to pick them.
10. Karrie
Karrie: Tanks Hate Her
All tanky heroes shy away once Karrie steps up to the plate. This is because her passive ability pierces her targets and deals a percentage of their max HP as True Damage. Her ultimate “Dual Light Wheel” serves her well in team fights by buffing both her attack and movement speed, allowing her to chip away at the health of the most durable heroes in the enemy lineup in a way no other marksman can do.
What makes Karrie great:
- She punishes tanks and enemy frontiers.
- She has a low-cooldown dash that's good for running and chasing.
- She can push towers fast.

9. Hanabi
Hanabi: Turning 10-Minute Games into 1-Hour Games
Hanabi is the most defensive marksman of all. Like most carries, she shines best in late game; unlike them, however, she has no dash ability and heavily relies on her teammates to guard her sides so she could attack from a safe distance. Her ability “Ninjutsu: Petal Barrage” remains the best marksman ability to abuse damage items as it makes her basic attacks ricochet for up to 5 targets. In a losing late game, this single ability can give her team a defensive edge and a potential turnaround.
What makes Hanabi great:
- She is the best hero when it comes to defending the base.
- Her ultimate is an AOE crowd control that is relevant in team fights.
- She is immune to crowd control whenever her shield is active.

8. Granger
Granger is among the few marksmen who can be considered an early game hero. Having no mana, he can repeatedly burst enemies with “Rhapsody” without having any item whatsoever. His passive increases the damage of his basic attacks but heavily compensates by reducing his attack speed. Because of this, Granger counts on his abilities, particularly on his ultimate “Death Sonata,” to inflict catastrophe against his opponents.
Granger Lil Bullets
What makes Granger great:
- He can chase and run away from threats by dashing.
- He has high damage output that can be exploited in early game.
- As a core position, he can jungle fast and outperform enemies.

7. Beatrix
Beatrix, the Girl with Too Many Ults
At the time of this writing, Beatrix is the newest hero in the game and the latest addition to the marksman category. She is a unique individual with an arsenal of four different weapons that each calls for a distinct playstyle and approach. Moreover, Beatrix is perhaps the only hero who has a significant influence both in early game and late game due to her array of varying abilities that are adaptable to all situations.
What makes Beatrix great:
- She dominates her matchup in the lane.
- Her authority in early game is as effective as her authority in late game.
- She can wield 2 weapons and use their ultimates consecutively.

6. Wanwan
Wanwan, the Tiger Who Pounces and Bounces
If you want a marksman who can dance around targets and debuff all crowd control, then Wanwan is the perfect hero for you. Her most distinguished ability: she can dash a short distance whenever using her basic attacks. But the broken thing is, the faster her attack speed goes, the faster her dashes go. Meaning in late game, once aptly itemized, she becomes an elusive pest that can kite enemies and leave them flailing at her cute little tail.
What makes Wanwan great:
- She is one of the most elusive heroes in the game.
- The targets she hits remain visible for a while.
- Her ultimate makes her invincible while continuing to deal high damage.

5. Clint
Clint Beastwood
If Karrie is the anti-tank, then Clint is the anti-anyone-else-but-tank (that is, as long as they’re itemized). Whenever he casts an ability, Clint’s passive, “Double Shot,” allows him to fire an enhanced bullet that penetrates a line of target. This long-range, no cooldown attack can land as a critical hit and can reach heroes all the way back into the enemy backlines. If you’re Clint’s enemy, it’s a line of fire you definitely don’t want to get near at.
What makes Clint great:
- He can burst enemies from a safe distance.
- He can immobilize and run away from threats by dashing.
- He dominates his matchup in the lane.

4. Yi Sun-Shin
Yi Sun-Shin: He Sees You
A special marksman, Yi Sun-Shin has the feature of changing from range to melee depending on his distance from his target. Whenever shifting his stance, Yi Sun-Shin’s basic attack lands as a critical hit, which makes him efficient in jungling as a core position. His true gift, however, comes from his ultimate, “Mountain Shocker,” an ability that rains fire on all enemies and reveals their positions anywhere on the map. As a result, Yi Sun-Shin and his teammates can assess fights before they even begin, position themselves accordingly, and proceed with advantageous knowledge.
What makes Yi Sun-Shin great:
- He can pinpoint enemy locations and whereabouts.
- He jungles fast and has decent early roam potential.
- He can chase and run away from enemies by dashing.

3. Bruno
Bruno: His Football Makes You Flop
Bruno has the highest basic attack damage in all of Mobile Legends. Period. Thanks to his “Mecha Legs,” his normal hits can have as high as 20% critical chance without items in the equation. In early game, this ability fails to give him an early advantage since critical chance is different from critical damage. But in late game, when all is gained and farmed, Bruno can delete enemies in 2 to 3 hits like it’s just another practice session.
What makes Bruno great:
- He can delete enemies in a few hits.
- He can chase and run away from threats by dashing.
- He outscales nearly every hero as the game goes on.

2. Brody
Brody: Don't Annoy Electricians
Each of Brody’s basic attack surges with power as his passive, “Abyss Corrosion,” increases its damage by more than a staggering 130% at the cost of longer channeling and lower attack speed. On top of that, he marks his targets with “Abyss Mark” which makes his attacks on them even more fatal. Once equipped with durability and mobility items, Brody becomes a real thorn in the flesh with his ridiculous swiftness and intense damage output.
What makes Brody great:
- He kites enemies while moving.
- His movement speed increases whenever he uses basic attacks.
- He can separate himself from threats by dashing.

1. Claude
Claude: He Will Steal Your Wins
On top of the list is the thieving hero, Claude. Being the perfect model, he excels at every aspect of being a marksman: moving, dodging, and most importantly, demolishing enemies regardless of their role. His ability “Art of Thievery” can increase both his attack speed and movement speed for up to a whopping 45%, giving him the marksman dream. As for team fights, he can blink right into the middle of the battlefield and show everyone who’s boss by wreaking spectacular havoc using his AOE ultimate “Blazing Duet.”
What makes Claude great:
- He has insane attack speed and movement speed.
- His basic attacks occur twice, which abuses the effect of some damage items.
- He can chase and run away from threats by switching positions with his mirror image.
