Ezreal, The Prodigal Explorer is a mage marksman, played mostly bot or mid. He has mixed damage, therefore quite hard to build resistance against.
He is also quite flexible, his E providing a teleport to a close location, kind of like a Flash. He works best with items: his Q applies on-hit effects, so items built from Sheen give him automatically bonus damage on Q.
His W is used to get mana back and can be used to siege turrets, providing bonus magic damage on Ezreal’s next attack or ability, refunding also the cost of that ability.
His R is a global shot, much like Jinx’s or Ashe’s, however, Ezreal’s deals damage to all enemies and monsters hit.

This build makes Ezreal depend on his abilities even more, but deal much more damage with W and E and R, while losing some damage on Q. This build is even better for taking down turrets-at max range, W+basic can take about ¼-⅓ of turret’s HP.
