The amazing thing about this game is that you get to customize your Eikon loadouts according to your playstyle, whether it is offensive, defensive, or just showing off for good old combo videos. The customization options for preparing your Eikon load-outs are endless.
These customizable load-outs allow you to change your stratagem from offensive to defensive after a boss battle or enemy encounter, allowing you to showcase your combo prowess and tactical abilities as well as garnering a spectacle. Most of these builds are for providing fun to the player hence, they are called Fun Builds.
Here, we will discuss some of the most Fun Builds to Play that are amazing to execute and effective in battles as well as a spectacle to watch. They range from crowd control to dealing with bosses only, to showing off those stylish combos, as explained before. The great thing is that, if you’re fast enough, you can switch them just before the battle.
That being said, let us now begin.
5. Crowd Control Build
Rising Flames.
If you are gunning for the “Action-Focused” Mode or playing the “Final Fantasy” mode in your New Game + playthrough, this build may help you in sufficient crowd control as there will be hordes of enemies for Clive to deal with. It is up to you and your skills that how you can fend those off.
The fun factor regarding this build is using different Eikon Abilities to control the herd that will surround you and using Ice-related spells in combination with Darkness Abilities, which really does take the cake! It is actually fun to switch and execute the abilities at once.
For this build, you will need the Shiva, Bahamut, and Odin Eikons equipped, and hopefully, if you’ve mastered every ability in your skill tree, you may be able to place all Eikon Abilities according to your liking.
We’ll consider Shiva as Set 1, where the abilities Upheaval (From Titan) and Diamond Dust (Shiva’s Ultimate or AoE attack) would prove to be quite helpful. Shiva’s Eikonic Feat Cold Snap is perfect for freezing enemies and this combination would really help you ace your game.
For Set 2, we will equip Bahamut with Impulse (from Bahamut) and Aerial Blast (from Garuda) will be equipped. Bahamut’s Wing’s of Light, which charges the Megaflare meter, is perfect for eliminating multitudes of enemies in a split second, and the same can be said for Aerial Blast and Impulse.
For Set 3, you will equip Odin, whose Arm of Darkness feat will help unleash Zantetsuken, and equip Odin’s Gungnir along with Shiva’s Rime for quick charging of the Zantetsuken meter, perfect for executing a Level 5 Zantetsuken which can one-shot enemies.
Why the Crowd Control build is powerful:
- Powerful Area of Effect (AoE) Attacks that deal with massive health damage.
- Aerial Blast and Diamond Dust (if equipped and mastered) delivers massive Stagger damage.
- Zantetsuken can one-shot enemies along with Megaflare.
Use this build if you like:

- Effective crowd control of hordes of enemies.
4. Eikon Slayer Build
Clive.
You will definitely encounter bosses that may be too much for you to handle, or even monsters from the Hunt Board, and you will need to have a good defense in order to counteract against their killing blows.
The only fun factor for this build is the fact that you can block and counter-attack all enemies' moves while closing in on the gap between you and your opponent makes you feel unstoppable, the same way Titan is against his boss fight with you.
For Set 1, go full Titan. Equip the Titan Eikon for the Titanic Block Eikon Ability, and choose the Windup and Earthen Fury Abilities for massive damage. With Titanic Block, you can counter attacks done against you, and Earthen Fury, along with Windup can delete healthbars.
Set 2 comprises of the Phoenix Eikon with the Rising Flames and Gigaflare (from Bahamut) equipped since the Phoenix Shift Eikon Ability can close the gap between you and the formidable enemy, Rising Flames can deliver massive damage and Gigaflare can be used as your trump card.
For Set 3, go with Shiva for the Cold Snap Eikonic Ability with Ice Age (from Shiva) and Ramuh’s Judgment Bolt equipped for freezing the dreaded enemy as well as delivering massive damage.
Why the Eikon Slayer build is powerrful:
- Powerful Area of Effect (AoE) Attacks that deal with massive health damage.
- Shiva’s Cold Snap freezes enemies in place and stops the Stagger meter regeneration in time as well.
- Gigaflare melts down enemy health bars and pretty useful for massive destruction.
- Phoenix Shift is effective for closing in gaps between you and the boss.
Use this build if you like:
- To play defensive, maintaining the gap between you and your opponent.
- To close in on enemies and finish them off quickly.
- Complete decimation of large boss in an arena.
3. Stagger King Build
Clive.
The Stagger Mechanic is a unique mechanic that is exclusive only to this game, and the earlier you understand this mechanic, the better it will be for you in the near future since filling the Stagger gauge can really help you knock down enemies faster and quicker, and this build plans on doing that.
For this build, the fun factor is in executing the different AoE attacks of Shiva, Phoenix, and Garuda, giving you ample time and area to give off significant destructive damage toward your enemies. Makes you feel all the more powerful as well.
For Set 1, go full Garuda and equip Gouge and Aerial Blast in the Eikon Slots with the Deadly Embrace ability, allowing you to take down enemies whenever the Stagger meter reaches the halfway point, and Gouge and Aerial Blast abilities can help you raise the meter higher.
If it’s stagger you’re looking for, do not forget to add Shiva in your loadout selection as for Set 2, you will equip her and the Upheaval (form Titan) and Diamond Dust (from Shiva) abilities, with the latter (Diamond Dust) having a Stagger Multiplier increase as well.
Set 3 mixes things up a bit differently. Equip Titan for blocking and add the Scarlet Cyclone and Flames of Rebirth abilities to this set, as the Scarlet Cyclone ability has enough Stagger to deal with massive crowd control, and Flames of Rebirth can really turn the tables on this one.
Why the Stagger King build is powerful:
- Powerful Area of Effect (AoE) Attacks that deal with massive health damage.
- Shiva’s Cold Snap freezes enemies in place and stops the Stagger meter regeneration in time as well.
- Diamond Dust increases the damage multiplier as well along with delivering a very powerful AoE attack.
- Deadly Embrace can bring down enemies once Stagger meter reaches halfway point, providing opening for multiple attacks.
- Flames of Rebirth can help regenerate Clive’s health and deliver massive stagger damage along with Scarlet Cyclone.
Use this build if you like:
- To stay on the offensive while delivering massive damage.
- To play defensive, maintaining the gap between you and your opponent.
- To close in on enemies and finish them off quickly.
- Effective crowd control of hordes of enemies.
- Complete decimation of large boss in an arena.
- To have complete mobility during combat.
2. All-Rounder Build
Clive
If you cannot decide on whether you need to deliver massive damage, massive stagger, or just want to be the best of both worlds, then this build is for you as the set of abilities in this build can act as the perfect paintbrush to paint your desired canvas on, via the showcase of your combat abilities, of course.
If you want to provide immense destruction along with the ability to effectively control your power to an extent, this build is the ideal choice for showcasing a balanced play. Stimulating destruction with pin-point accuracy of herd elimination is a feeling like none other achieved with this build.
Set 1 is the Phoenix Eikon set with Rising Flames and Gigaflare (from Bahamut) equipped, which can close the gap between you and your enemy and deliver massive damage. The same set can be used for the Eikon Slayer Build as well as mentioned above.
In Set 2, go full Titan again, but this time, there is no need to have any AoE attacks in your skillset. Just equip Windup and Upheaval in your Abilities Slots, and you should do the trick with your Titanic Block Feat.
Set 3 is different; Equip Garuda but have Shiva’s Ice Age and Diamond Dust equipped as they are literal Stagger kings, and Garuda’s Deadly Embrace Eikon Feat can help you take down enemies and rain fire on them.
Why the All-Rounder build is powerful:
- Powerful Area of Effect (AoE) Attacks that deal with massive health damage.
- Diamond Dust increases the stagger multiplier as well as delivers a very powerful AoE attack.
- Gigaflare melts down enemy health bars and is pretty useful for massive destruction.
- Titanic Block helps to Block and deliver three counterattacks as well.
- Windup can pummel enemies to the ground.

- To stay on the offensive while delivering massive damage.
- To play defensive, maintaining the gap between you and your opponent.
- To close in on enemies and finish them off quickly.
- Effective crowd control of hordes of enemies.
- Complete decimation of large boss in an arena.
1. Double Zantetsuken Build (Best)
Image
Raging Fists.
Probably one of the all-time favorite builds and my most used one as well as the Double Zantetsuken Build is perfect to master once you have all the abilities unlocked and you are starting your journey on New Game + mode. Another known fact is that this AP costs less to setup, once all abilities and Eikons have been unlocked.
If you want to feel like Vergil from Devil May Cry or a powerful sword-wielder that slashes enemies with one simple strike, this build is perfect for that. Trust me, executing Level 5 Zantetsuken is satisfying enough but being able to do that twice!? Sign me up.
For Set 1, go for Garuda with Rook’s Gambit and Lightning Rod equipped as Lightning Rod itself can multiply the damage delivered to most enemies and Rook’s Gambit is perfect for parrying counterattacks.
Set 2, Titan is your best friend here as you equip Raging Fists and Windup in the Eikon Slots as well with Titanic Block and Raging Fists helping you parry any oncoming attacks, same as Rook’s Gambit and Windup for delivering massive damage.
For Set 3, the essential requirement is having the Odin Eikon equipped with Dancing Steel and Rising Flames equipped to help build your Zantetsuken meter. You need to have Genji Gloves, The Favor of Earth (Windup), and The Pull of Darkness (Dancing Steel) equipped to execute the combos with precision and finesse.
Why the Double Zantetsuken build is powerful:
- Titanic Block helps to Block and deliver three counterattacks as well.
- Raging Fists, if timed properly, can parry enemy attacks and deliver a flurry of punches.
- Windup can pummel enemies to the ground.
- Deadly Embrace can bring down enemies once Stagger meter reaches halfway point, providing opening for multiple attacks.
- Powerful Area of Effect (AoE) Attacks that deal with massive health damage.
- Lightning Rod helps to amplify already enormous damage output.
- The Double Zantetsuken Build can certainly help eliminate tougher enemies in a flash while showing off your skills.
And that’s about it with the best builds. I really hope this helped. See you later and make the best use of these build setups.
