9. Ranger Sequoia
(A beautifully designed wasteland treasure)
Coming in at number 9 we have the Ranger Sequoia! Now, this weapon is synonymous with New Vegas. The rangers that roam the wasteland carrying out their orders to save people and destroy the enemies of the NCR are legends. These guns are carried by the best of the best, the veteran rangers. There are a few ways to get it, the easiest is to pickpocket a veteran ranger but you can also get it by doing the return to sender quest.

8. Holy Frag Grenades
(The blessing of explosions)
Coming in at number 8 we have the Holy Frag Grenades! These are some of the rarest weapons in the game if you consider that there are only three of them and you can’t even get those if you don’t have the wild wasteland perk. In the basement of a church in the eastern part of camp searchlight, you will find these highly damaging grenades. You throw these at your enemies and you don’t have enemies anymore.
Weapon Stats:
- Skill: Explosives 0
- Str req: 2
- Dmg/atk: 800
- DPS/ 522
- Crit mult: x1
Why The Holy Frag Grenades are great:
- If you consider reloading times the Holy Frag Grenades have the highest DPS out of any explosives weapons in the game.
- One of the goofier weapons you find in the game, the Holy Frag Grenades are incredibly powerful having an explosion more like a nuclear blast than a normal grenade.
- This unique weapon is one of the easiest ones to find and that plus its power would put it higher on this list if not for the rarity of it. You only get three of these gems so put them to good use and make wasteland pulp of your enemies.

6. Ballistic Fist
(A punch with a lil pepper on it)
Coming in at number 6 we have the Ballistic Fist! The Ballistic Fist is a very exciting weapon and personally one of my favorite weapons in the game. This is an anime-style weapon if you’ve ever seen one. A modified power fist with a double-barrel shotgun attached to it instead of the normal power bar this weapon adds explosive results to your punches.
Weapon Stats:
- Skill: Unarmed 100
- Str req: 9
- Dmg/atk:80
- DPS:87
- Crit mult:x1
Why the Ballistic Fist is great:
- This weapon adds a really awesome effect to your punches. Every time you land a hit on your enemies instead of a power fist slam they get a shotgun blast straight to the mouth.
- If you’re not running DLC this weapon has the most base damage out of any unarmed weapon in the game and if you don’t have the wild wasteland perk it has the second-highest DPS of any unarmed weapon.
- The pure awesomeness of this weapon is a major factor for this weapon. I mean how awesome is it to slam a shotgun in your opponent’s faces with your fist.

5. Mercy
(Oh mercy me)
Coming in at number 5 we have the Mercy! Mercy, mercy please! That’s what your enemies will be yelling as they see you approaching with this monster of a grenade machinegun in your hands.
