You found the perfect place for your base, but the ground doesn’t seem to allow you to place the foundations? Or maybe you built an amazing house that you want to expand, but you don’t know how to build on the uneven ground around it. Building a strong base is an important part of Ark, even if not all the terrain is flat and building-friendly. Here is a simple, efficient method that will solve your problems. It will require some materials and a little bit of patience, but the results are worth it. The secret is to build a ceiling directly over the ground where you want to start the construction. 

How it works:

• Craft the necessary materials
• Don’t hurry to place the foundation. Firstly place a ceiling above that place. You can use a thatch one, as it’s cheaper 
• Snap the foundation under the ceiling 
• Delete the ceiling and build one that fits your needs (stone/wood/metal ceiling)
