You can tame the perfect dinosaur in Ark Survival Evolved, but where do you keep it after taming? Leaving dinosaurs on “wander” can have unpleasant results, so building a fence to keep your tames can be quite useful. The only problem is that, at least in the beginning, building a fence seems confusing. Here are some tips and a simple guide on how to do it.
There are two main structures you can use: The Wooden Fence Foundation and The Wooden Fence Support. The foundation is mostly used as a start for placing walls around an area. By using this technique, you can easily create a pen for your dinosaurs. The main difference between the fence foundations and the fence supports is that the foundations are placed directly on the ground, whereas the supports are used to build structures as level hights.
How it works:
- Craft Wooden Fence Foundations or Wooden Fence Supports
- Place wall sections on top of foundations
- Fence Supports can snap to foundations and other fence supports. You can also build walls and fences on them
