Building your first house is an exciting moment in any player’s game. In Ark, you don’t even have to wait too long to be able to build a beautiful base. Just start leveling up until you reach level 4 and unlock thatch building engrams, such as the door, wall, roofs, and foundation. To start crafting the structures for your house, you need only 3 resources: Fiber, Wood, and Thatch. All of these can be easily gathered and you’ll soon be able to craft everything you need. Start by placing the foundations on flat ground, and consider to chose a place close to a water source. Continue by adding the walls on top of the foundations and let some space for the door. At last, the roof structures will protect you from an airstrike.
How it works:
- Unlock the necessary engrams
- Gather the next resources: Wood, Thatch, Fiber
- Craft the structures
- Start placing the foundations, walls, doors, and roofs
- Consider adding a bed/ sleeping bag in your house so you can respawn there if you die
