What can be more exciting than taming creatures in Ark Survival Evolved? Breeding them. This is an incredible feature that adds so many options to your game. Not to mention that baby dinosaurs are absolutely adorable and they are yours from the moment they are born. No need for going through the taming process. Players can breed creatures through Eggs with non-mammals and gestation with mammals and it’s even possible to steal eggs laid by other players’ dinosaurs, as they don’t have an owner. After the eggs hatch, the newborns must be claimed and fed quickly, as their little body is so fragile.
How it works:
- Creatures must be of the same species
- They must be of opposite sexes (one male and one female)
- Place them within mating range of each other
- Set them on wandering or set to mate
- Disable Following on both creatures
- Make sure they are unburdened, so they can move
- Don’t mount them
- Check the females so they are not having a mating cooldown
