10. SetTargetDinoColor
If you want the command to work you have to use this syntax:
admincheat SetTargetDinoColor <Region> <Color ID>.
The “admincheat” part is optional if you are not in multiplayer. This amazing command will set the color of the dino your crosshair is currently over, according to the specified region and color ID.
In Ark, a dinosaur has up to 6 color regions, numbered 0-5. Many colors don’t occur naturally on wild creatures, but they can appear on certain events, or as a mutation on bred creatures. You don’t have to wait for that though. If you are the creative type, give it a shot and design the Ark creatures after your wishes!
9. SetTimeOfDay
The proper syntax for this command is:
admincheat SetTimeOfDay <Hour>:<Minute>[:<Second>]
This command sets the time of the day in the current game world, exactly as you suggest it. You can use hour: minute and optionally, the hour: minute: second setting is available.
What to do with this information? Changing the time means you can see the sunlight as much as you need it in your game. However, even if it is extremely useful for helping you visualize better details and skip the night during a construction, this command can’t fast-forward time. So you will still have to wait for that egg to hatch…
8. Ghost
Also known as: admincheat Ghost
This command enables 'noclip' mode, disabling collisions. Essentially, the name speaks for itself. You are no longer limited by the material world and you can freely pass through any objects, including terrain. To disable the mode, simply use the walk command.
The “ghost” command may come in handy when you are chasing your next tame. Another tip: to avoid falling forever in the game, always use the walk command before you teleport or ride a dino. It is not a nice feeling.
7. GiveArmorSet
The correct syntax for the command is:
admincheat GiveArmorSet <Armor Type> <Quality>
This command gives you a full set of the specified armor tier that will be equipped to your character, not placed in your inventory. Your preferred armor type can be one of the following: clot, chitin, metal, riot, hazard, tek, and the quality must be a number between 1 and 5.
Having any armor set at any time is a huge advantage not only in battle and defense, but also for keeping your stats and comfort at max.
6. TakeTribe
Syntax: admincheat TakeTribe <Tribe ID>
This admin command will transfer all of the dinosaurs of the tribe with the specified ID to you. Actually, not only the dinos but also the structures. All you need to do is type in the Tribe ID.
If you don’t have the time to start an alliance or to conquer a tribe, this command is the easy way to go. Or you can just have fun, take it to a whole new level and possess everything on the map. To conclude, it has many uses.
5. Gmsummon
This one requires a little bit more typing:
admincheat GMSummon <''Entity ID"><Creature Level>
You have to know the entity ID of the creature you wish to spawn and to make sure to use quotation marks. Multiple dinosaurs have their name included in the ID. Here is an example: “DodoRex_Character_BP_C”. However, some IDs may be more complicated, so I suggest checking out an ID list online. Another tricky aspect is entering the desired level for your dino. The level does not include the taming bonus, so you will need to divide it by 1.5. To give you an example, for the creature to spawn at level 30, you would enter 20 (the 50% taming bonus is 10, and 20 + 10 is 30).
Use this command whenever you want to spawn a new dinosaur. It can be for defense, battle, exploration, or gathering purposes. Or just for discovering new creatures! Either way, it will definitely be useful.
4. Addexperience
Syntax: admincheat AddExperience <Amount> <Tribe Share> <Prevent Sharing With Tribe>
What it does: This command adds experience points to the player who uses it. You just need to type the amount of experience you wish to add to your balance and to specify “tribe share” or “prevent sharing with tribe”. To do so you should use the numbers “0” – as false and “1” as true. An example for Tribe Share: 1 - if experience came from tribe, 0 - if it did not.
Adding experience will fast-forward your levels and unlock much faster amazing items and possibilities for your game.
3. PlayersOnly
Finally an easy syntax: admincheat PlayersOnly
This command will halt all creature movement, and prevent crafting. It is called PlayersOnly because it does not affect players. If you want to deactivate it, simply type the command again.
Why it’s important: It is the perfect command for winning a battle. For example, it gives you an impressive advantage in a boss fight. However, a tip you have to remember is that it also stops all the blood animations from coming up so it prevents you from seeing the damage of the opponent. As soon as you come back to normal, the damage will be presented all at the same time.
2. God
A powerful, simple command: admincheat God
This command will help you enter God mode, meaning that you are essentially immune to most forms of danger. Unfortunately, it does not protect you from drowning. To deactivate the mode just type the cheat again.
Why it’s useful: You can be invincible in any battle and you will no longer fear a surprise attack when exploring the map. Fall for any height and upset any dinosaur. With this mode, the water is the limit!
1. InfiniteStats
Syntax: admincheat InfiniteStats
I consider this to be the king of commands, an upgrade from the God mode. Just enter the syntax: admincheat InfiniteStats and you will enjoy unlimited health, oxygen, stamina, food, and water. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work for weight but it still offers a considerable improvement on that front.
Once you type it, the possibilities are endless. You will no longer be thirsty or hungry. There will be no need to worry about damage or stamina and you will be the winner in any battle. You can even explore the ocean without worrying about your oxygen levels.
