Don't feel like cooking in real life? Well, now you can become a chef on your Animal Crossing: New Horizons island.
How to cook in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Cooking is just one of the features added to Animal Crossing: New Horizons in the 2.0 update but it’s one of the most versatile and useful. The food recipes can be sold for Bells, eaten, displayed as furniture, and even given to villagers and friends! Gathering the various DIY recipes and catching, growing, or buying their ingredients is yet another characteristic that adds to the charm of growing your island.
How To Cook In ACNH:
- Before we begin, you’re going to need 2,000 Nook Miles. When you’re ready, head over to the Resident Services building and access the Nook Stop terminal.
- Redeem your Nook Miles for the “Be a Chef! DIY Recipes +” option.
- Go to Nook’s Cranny to the supply cabinet, and purchase the recipe book entitled “Basic Cooking Recipes” for 4,980 Bells.
- Go home and go over to your cooking device. This can be a stove, system kitchen, or the stonework kitchen that comes in your DIY app.
- Press the “A” button when you’re beside your stove. This will bring up a list of the DIY cooking recipes that you’ve collected so far and the ingredients you need to make them.
- Once you have all of the necessary ingredients for a recipe, you’ll have the option to “Make It!” and once you do, the item will appear in your inventory and you’re able to do as you please with it.
