The author, Ms. Thrasher, is pleased to meet you. She is a graduate from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in English with a Creative Writing minor. The three years at the university gave her the experience to understand the process of storytelling. Her belief is that gaming and story are deeply interconnected. This inspires her to write how this interconnection creates a gaming experience for players. In the 19 years of being a non-traditional gaming geek, she is aware of how games can teach, motivate, and relieve stress for people of all ages.

Ms. Thrasher's favorite type of games are point-and-click, survival, and adventure games. She has been a Nancy Drew nerd since the age of 10 and has played each HerInteractive game approximately 20 times. When she isn't playing Nancy Drew, she is either playing Don't Starve Together or Assassin's Creed Chronicles. However, Ms. Thrasher also likes to experience games new and unfamiliar to her, whether it's through watching streamers play games (such as Dead by Daylight) or being recommended games by friends.
