Coming from a small private college in Illinois, Riley graduated with a Communications major and a Journalism minor with honors. During that time, he wrote for a newspaper for a few years as a news reporter and one year as Editor-in-Chief. His love of writing is only bested for his love of videogames. Starting out with the Nintendo 64 back in 2000, Riley has played some form of a video game almost every day since then. He has played on consoles from Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft ranging from Call of Duty to Super Mario Strikers. Now, Riley plays Rocket League to blow off steam when keeping up with launch dates, microtransaction controversy, and all around lazy video game development becomes a little too hectic.
