Niccolo fell in love with storytelling while collecting every secret report in The World Ends With You and leaving FLCL on repeat in the background. He was fascinated by the amount of characterization packed into each of these relatively short stories, and decided he had to make some for himself. That was how his passion for complex, character-driven urban fantasy was initially sparked. He kept playing JRPGs and adventure games as he learned to write, and that formed most of his inspiration. During and after college, he gained an appreciation for editing the work of his colleagues and helping his friends tell their stories in their most poignant forms. In addition to editing two novellas, Niccolo has completed extensive research into artificial intelligence and how it is being used today. He has written over 30 articles about AI applications and their possible effects on business and everyday life. He loves to describe how satisfying a good gameplay loop can be, and it makes him happy to see people having fun with a game they may have been intimidated by on their first impression.
