Irrigation is an amazing way of saving your time in Ark Survival Evolved. Creating and maintaining a farm can be wonderful, but it’s not worth the time it takes to water all the plants, especially if you have a large farm. So, what to do now? By creating an irrigation system, you can connect pipes, so they do the work for you. It’s not that hard and even if it requires some materials at the beginning, it will pay off.
How it works:
- Craft the necessary items. There are multiple options available. For a basic irrigation system, it’s best to craft these first: intake pipe, tap, straight pipe, inclined pipe, and maybe the vertical one. As you advance, you can connect multiple pipes via the intersection one.
- Locate a close water source. It can be the ocean, a lake, a river, or even a pond
- Place the intake pipe in a water source. It can even be a water reservoir
- Connect the pipes
- Place the Tap close to the crops. A tab is a square that will enable water to move freely through 2 of its sides
